Volkswagen T25
Meet Dotty. Sheβs a 1989 VW Transporter with an Autosleeper High Top Conversion. She would be a perfect project (and quick to get back on the road).
1.9 DG Petrol Engine
Not quite tax exempt but not far off!
No MOT so would need to be towed.
Sheβs been my adventuring partner for 14 years but itβs time to let someone else look after her. I donβt have the time to fix her up and Iβd rather someone had fun with this perfect project. Sheβs got things that need fixing but, if you can weld, can be made roadworthy for use this summer season.
The Good:
β’ Engine runs beautifully
β’ New skylight fitted
β’ Mostly original interior (although will need some TLC)
β’ Underside has been rebuilt
β’ 15ββ wheels
β’ Recently changed fuel pump and filters
β’ Water & waste tanks β pump works but pipes need connecting
β’ Leisure battery, gas cylinder
β’ Cooker works perfectly
β’ Fridge β never been used
β’ 2 beds β 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs
β’ Plenty of storage space
β’ Lots of receipts for work done
The Bad:
β’ βBuzzer of Doomβ sounds constantly β electrical fault
β’ Slight coolant leak β suspected to be a perishing hose
β’ Bodywork needs attention β windows, seams β cosmetic only (& 2 pieces needed for MOT β see list)
β’ No MOT – failures below

Sheβs a lovely van to drive and go camping in. Iβll be sad to let her go but she deserves to be back on the road!
Standard Autosleeper converion. Sturdy but needs some TLC. Cushions will need covering.
Rear seat converts into double bed
Double bed for children in roof
