The two 12V batteries (total 260Ah) are charged via split charger when the engine is running. Batteries power the lighting and tap, a 500W inverter powers two UK 240V sockets, for laptops and other lower power items plus two USB charging points. Electric hook up for mains supply powers heating and three further 240V sockets. Dune is supplied with an outdoor 240V hook up cable. The electric coolbox can be powered by mains hook-up, the inverter when driving, or off-grid (a full charge will last about 24hrs).
An 8kw diesel heater (supplied by main fuel tank) makes it a great choice for off-grid adventures. Furthermore, it is equipped with mains hook-up heating, consisting of a 500W oil filled radiator for continuous use and a 2KW electric fan heater on a 10-minute timer switch providing a quick blast of warmth.
