Volkswagen Caddy Maxi
Hello! Gutted to have to sell our lovely van. My boyfriend and I just had a baby and the van only has two seats, so we have no choice but to hand her over to a new owner so we can upgrade to something bigger. She’s been the ideal weekend getaway vehicle for us to escape the city, but also ideal for longer adventures too, for one person or a couple.
Full MOT and recent full service (Feb 2024). Single sofa bench seat (including 2 x bespoke memory foam cushions with removable blue covers) that pulls out into a small double quickly and easily with enough room for 2 adults. Includes 2 x additional under-bed storage cabinets (see pictures and video).
We’ve used her for lots of trips around the UK and a big trip around Portugal, Spain, and back up through France. The windows in the back and side are blacked out/tinted so it is easy to ‘stealth camp’. A couple of dents in the rear (pictured) but just cosmetic.
The key thing about this van for any interested Londoners, is that she’s ULEZ compliant – so no extra costs. The van drives really well, is easy to manoeuvre, and parks up in normal-sized parking spaces. As a woman on my own, I felt really safe sleeping inside by myself as she’s ideal to ‘stealth’ camp in.

My boyfriend is really handy – his work involves making and building, so the work has been done to a high standard. Renovated by us and work included soundproofing, full insulation, carpeting walls, and fitting new vinyl flooring. It’s a simple, efficient use of the space and really neat and tidy.
