Conversion Description

Off grid Ducato conversion camper with pumped water, 12v electrics, hidden portable toilet cupboard, fridge, sink and professionally installed diesel heater.

USB sockets throughout with UK mains plug sockets in the garage for Ebike or other charging when on mains hook up. No inverter but space for one to be installed and the ability to the run mains sockets into the living area if required.

Fully sound deadened, and insulted with sheeps wool and insulation board in the floor, camping in the winter is a joy! In the summer the large rear roof skylight and the electric extractor fan in the forward cabin creates a nice breeze over the bed to keep you cool on the hot summers days.

Fixed rear bed allows for quick last minute getaways ands easy set up once on site.

Front cab double seat swivels to increase the living and dining space.

The van has Apple CarPlay and no expense spared on the mechanics to ensure a reliable base. It starts first time every time and runs nice and smooth.

Upgraded front and rear suspension with new wheels and tyres (semi off road for the slick fields or forest trails) that have only covered about 2500 miles.

MOT due Nov 2026.

The fixed kitchen houses three large drawers for supplies, crockery and utensils with a large chest fridge in the bottom drawer. Waste water currently runs into a waste container under the sink but can easily be routed out of the van.

The water supply comes from two 16 litre food grade jerry cans hidden in the garage, that way if water runs low on site it’s easy to take them and fill up without moving the van, plus they are easy to remove and clean. The water is filtered and pumped with a diaphragm to maintain constant pressure.

The electrics were planned by Nomadic Energy and comprises of 2 140W solar panels charging 2 x 250Ah AGM batteries, with split relay charging (battery to battery when driving), smart shunt and shore hook up for powered campsites, and was designed to be off grid. I’ve never had to plug in apart from to charge an electric bike overnight. Its all Victron and controlled automatically and monitored from via Bluetooth on your phone.

Cooking is using a portable stove. I didn’t want to get involved in gas running thought the van and when camping its nice to cook outside. There is a pop up table outside so you cook indoors or outside.

Space in the garage for fire-pit, BBQ, three large storage boxes (plus more) and a bike tray that extends out and will carry two bikes.

There’s currently a pressurised water pump and supply for bike/people cleaning.

The garage has a hatch going into the living cabin to allow access to fuse box and storage to avoid going outside, but otherwise it’s separate to cabin, surfboard or SUP may pass through, depending on equipment width. When the rear doors are open you cannot see the living space as it’s behind an insulated partition to keep it private, warm and away from rain.

Stitches and Steel awning included.

Please get in touch if you’ve any questions about any of this or if you want specific photos, dimensions etc.

Beds Description

Fixed double bed in the rear and inflatable bed with airbags in the foot well as a front seat bed for child or small adult. Cab is partitioned with a curtain and with the window cover on when camping makes for a dark and cosy ‘bedroom’.
