Dream a Little Dream
With two sleeping areas, The Housebox is perfect for a family of two adults and two kids, for a couple, or for three friends. Above the King size bed, sits the electronic glass skylight, with an automatic black-out blind; so you can put the kids to bed early, or go to sleep gazing at the stars. This bed is big enough for all four of us to cuddle up together in the morning, but there is a further berth above the cab for small people too. No need to queue for showers or toilets. The Housebox has an indoor, hot shower with beautiful blue tiling, a large Belfast sink, and a removable, Porta-Potti for those night-time emergencies. In the winter, there is a Propex blown air heater to take the chill off in the mornings, or you can light the wood burner for a romantic evening.
Kingsize Bed
• Murphy wall bed, which can be folded up during the day and quickly folded down at night with bedding still in place. No need to fold duvets away every morning.
• Velux electronic glass skylight – providing a view of the trees, clouds and stars
• Solar-powered blackout blind
• Split barn door leads directly to veranda platform
• Officially sleeps 2 adults, but we have fit the whole family in.
Over-cab Bed
Sneak up a ladder to your own little den, complete with cabin light and two USB chargers. Whether or not you squeeze a friend in will depend on how big you are, and how much you like them!
The bed over the cab is 125cm x 210cm with headroom starting at 60cm on the open side and sloping to 10cm at the front wall. It’s accessed by a ladder, and although there is some netting to cover the drop, we don’t recommend that very small children or babies sleep up here unaccompanied.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE HOUSEBOX (aka Brenda)
“We spent a fabulous three weeks in Brenda, visiting friends and family for a birthday camping weekend and also a music festival. Brenda was warm and cosy, despite the typical British summer weather! She was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. The drop-down terrace was excellent for relaxing on, and Brenda never missed a beat whilst driving.” (Lee & Jules, May ’24, Airbnb review)
