Ford Transit T260 MWB Medium Roof
I’m selling my 2008 Ford Transit T260, MWB, which I’ve absolutely loved, in order to fund a bigger vehicle conversion, so I can live in it full-time.
The van is a 2L diesel
Manual transmission
Reversing sensors
Payload: 3,000kg
Maximum weight/MAM: 3,500kg
240v mains hookup (cable included) with 16amp connection
2 x 110AH leisure batteries
3 ways of charging the batteries. Mains battery charger, split charge relay when driving and 175w solar panel with MPPT smart charger and isolator
1500/3000w surge pure sine wave inverter (2 sockets)
Control panel with USB sockets
Dometic CRX50 12v fridge
Fitted Dometic dual gas burner and integrated sink, with lids that close to provide additional counter space and act as a splash back when open. Gas signed off with Gas Safe Certificate
Battery operated carbon monoxide detector
Underslung LPG tank, allowing for more interior space
70L fresh water tank with Shurflo 45psi pump, filter, Fiamma expansion vessel
Bullfinch external shower point (with hot water)
Truma 4e combi heating and hot water system. 4kw heat output with 4 vents and hot water (which can be run from mains electric, LPG or a combination of both). Heating system can provide both hot air and cool air on hotter days. Hot water supplied to both the sink and the shower point, which is located just inside the rear doors
LED ceiling spotlights x 4
Roof vent with fly screen
2 x tinted windows. Right hand side sliding window above dual gas burner and sink. Fixed window on sliding door
Insulated floor, walls and ceiling with Knaufwool Earthwool, Celotex 25mm rigid foam board, and vapour barrier
Wood effect, wipe clean non slip flooring
Oak countertop with live edge wood storage. Underneath there’s a drawer lined with non slip mat. Under that is a double cupboard with more storage. There’s 2 shelves at the end of the kitchen area, as you first enter the van
Additional live edge shelving/storage on both of the rear doors
There’s storage above the cab area too, which currently houses a push in thermal blind for the sliding window and a magnetic thermal blind for the fixed window in the sliding door
Further storage can be found underneath the bench closest to the sliding door
Removable custom made mountain table
The bed is easily put together by popping in two supports, housed underneath the middle bench nearest to the rear doors. Pop the seat cushions on top, including an additional piece of foam that’s currently housed above the cab area
Decorated with a forest theme throughout, including a grass doormat, this van has been very well looked after and I’ve spent a huge amount of time trying to bring a natural feel to the inside of the van, so that inside feels like an extension of outside
The bed can fit 2 adults

Quirky loves this style means that Quirky Campers would potentially approve this vehicle for hiring. However, Quirky have not approved a Gas Safe certificate, a Weighbridge certificate, or the vehicle's electrics. Buyers must check these themselves. For some tips on what to look out for read this. If the listing has no Gas Safe certificate, no unladen weight and no electrical sign-off please proceed with caution!
