Ford Transit L3H3
The vehicle mileage is 158000, since owning the vehicle I have replaced the engine(It had 38000 when purchased and fitted, has done an additional 1000 miles since). Along with the engine, the clutch and turbo have also been replaced, with two new batteries, new oil and fuel filters, and the alternator tensioners.
New key fob.
Bodywork is fine, but it does have marks as expected on a 10 year old vehicle.
The engine is a 2.2l, six speed diesel engine, it is NOT a wet drive (A good thing btw).
Interior:
A fixed double bed sits widthways above a garage space. It will allow people upto approx 6,2 to lie flat.
Evo Motion kitchen, consisting of a slide out chopping board, four separate drawers, two gas jobs, and a stainless sink with plumbed water. This unit also has a fridge unit.
The two passenger seat unit is also one fully functioning swivel.
A removable floor mounted table.
Diesel heater(Operated from a panel beside the bed.) This is exceptional, and can vouch for this having used it in very cold conditions in the Trossachs, Edale and Snowdonia.
Charging points: 12v, 240v & USB points
Manual roof vent.
A courtesy glass window has been fitted above the bench seat on the drivers side.
On the roof is a Victron PV panel 175W.
A small doorway which provides access to the garage from inside the van.
Storage:
Two large cupboards above the bed,
Two large upright cupboards beside the bed
A very large storage space underneath the bench seat.
All units are handmade by Innercity Campers.
There is a large open storage space above the drivers & passenger seating area, accessed from the van interior.
In the garage is:
An 800w Inverter, ac/dc converter, dc/dc charger, solar charger – all are Victron components
Leisure battery
Gas bottle and a secure floor mounted metal safety housing box with floor vent.
Water pump.
There is also the hook up charge point.
The van was fully insulated with kingspan, and has a water vapour barrier fitted.
I have two spreadsheets detailing all aspects of the fit out, down to screws and tapes – detailing all of the costings.
It has a fixed, width ways double bed. It could fit someone upto 6ft 2. The bed is situated above the garage area.
