2017 L2H2 Ford Transit Campervan – Built for Adventure
We’re sadly parting with our much-loved campervan, a bespoke conversion designed with mountain biking and skiing adventures in mind. It’s been a fantastic travel companion around Scotland and even to Norway, but we reluctantly need to sell to fund house renovations.
The Mechanical Bits…
• 2017 L2H2 Ford Transit Mk8: Galvanised and treated underbody, so no rust issues like older Transits.
• Mileage: ~137,500 miles (might go up slightly but not much)
• Bodywork: In good condition with just minor stone chips at the front and a small dent in the rear door.
• MOT: Valid until 5th Feb 2026 (no advisories)
• Maintenance:
– Regularly serviced, both by us and the previous owner (an engineering company).
– Paperwork available for all work.
– Recent jobs include:
– Oil and filter change (Nov 2024).
– New wet timing belt (2023, 121,000 miles).
– New tyres (Nov 2024).
– New brakes, brake pipes, and fluid (April 2024).
