Ford transit
This 2002, low milage, well serviced Ford Transit Camper Van is a solid, well built home on wheels for anyone looking for a reliable and well-equipped camper. It’s the biggest engine for this model at 2.4ltr, it’s got heaps of torque and even with a full water and fuel tank and a fully laiden rear it pulls with no issue up any hill you out in front of it. With a very low mileage of 56k and a stunning modern interior, this campervan is perfect for a lifetime of adventures waiting to be lived be out.
The van has a main bed the full width of the van and 190cm in length (it sleeps myself at 6″2″ comfortablely) this folds out from the benches you can see in the pictures with an additional bench/bed for a youth (although I have slept there comfortably myself) and with the hot water system and shower it’s self contained, have never run out of power on the leisure batteries being charged directly from the engine
We’ve travelled with 3 adults for 2 weeks+ on various trips around Europe and it’s provided a fantastic base to travel in and from and has also allowed a huge amount of freedom for shorter, more local trips around the UK when the chance arises.
It has had two previous owners and has lived life as an st John ambulance being well maintained and serviced with the split charging system professionally installed during this time meaning it charges the leisure batteries when being driven.
It has been well-maintained and comes with a new MOT(expires 16.4.25), the minors on it being the underseal coating and the grease on the brake pipes to prevent corrosion. The following work has been done on the van with receipts for the vast majority of the work

Most of the fit I’ve done myself and nearly all mechanical work has been carried out by a professional garage when it’s flagged on an MOT so currently the advisories are for the underseal coating and the brake pipes which are greased to protect against corrosion.
It has had two previous owners and has lived life as an st John ambulance being well maintained and serviced with the split charging system professionally installed during this time meaning it charges the leisure batteries when being driven, I’ve never run out of power when using it for any period of time while travelling and it has a cut off system which separates the leisure batteries from the engine batteries which ensure you can always start the van.
All rust has been treated and the underside of the van has been treated with underseal to maintain the bodywork and frame
The lights are separated into front and rear sections operated on different switches and the bathroom is on its own circuit, the water pumps are on another switch which is controlled alongside the lights from a central switch panel. The ceiling extractor has a dedicated switch on it and all are fused separately in the electrical compartment.
It comes with a new MOT (expires 16.4.25)
Full size bed folds out from benches, I’m 6.2 and sleep comfortable, it’s the width of the van and 190cm in length, it’s bigger than my double in the house.
The smaller bench bed can sleep an adult (I’ve slept in it fine) and expands from the pictures
