Vehicle Description

2009 Ford Transit Campervan – Fully Off-Grid & Ready for Adventure.
Price negotiable ♧
Delivery possible ♧

I’m selling my beloved 2009 Ford Transit campervan because I have a European van now.
This Van is a professionally crafted, self-contained home on wheels, ready to go wherever your next adventure takes you. 😊

It has a 1.3 m wide fixed double bed + hammock anchor points for guests

• Swivel passenger seat
• Warm, dimmable lighting for a cozy feel
• Ample storage including space for 2 bikes + surfboards under the bed
• Rear door surfboard rack

🚐 Vehicle Specs:
-Ford Transit 2.4 TDCi (100hp) RWD – 2009
-Mileage: ~199,000 (in daily use, very reliable)
-MOT: Fresh MOT will be completed before sale

🔧 Mechanical Work & Maintenance:
This van has been exceptionally well maintained — mechanically and structurally. Key highlights include:

• Gearbox recently replaced
• Brand new clutch
• Brand new front discs and pads
• Water pump, vacuum pump, and starter motor all recently replaced
• Timing chain + guides done at 160,000 miles (100’000 before recommended replacement)
• Regular servicing: Oil + filters every 7,000–10,000 miles (last at 195,000)

Weight:
2690kg semi laden weight(pots, pans and clothes in cupboards) 800kg remaining

Rust treatment: Underside stripped, treated, galvanising spray paint, and lanoguarded

Minor welding only in common Transit areas (front steps, inner front arches and sills. Generally speaking its a very solid van that I took great care and effort to preserve structurally and mechanically.

Some surface rust remains on the front roof and sills. Personally I’m not so concerned of asthetic looks because I travelled with thousands of £ worth of tools and it was more incognito. Therefore the paintwork is not the best.

💬 Final Notes:
This van has been my full-time home for the last 3.5 years. It’s solid, self-sufficient, and has covered 45,000 miles of adventure without missing a beat. Two people can live in it comfortably — it’s not just a van, it’s a tested and trusted home. I’m very proud of this van because I put a lot of love into the build and she’s seen me through some incredible adventures, this is not the usually DIY self build.
