Welcome to the sale of our loved family Campervan
To be honest and clear this has failed it MOT this year and I cant justify to time and money to fix due to use not using the van as much as we’d like.
I’ll list out below the failures but first the good points and spec of the van.
Engine is the 2.4 140bhp and has been remapped to around 170bhp and restriction lifted
This camper has had the V5 changed to show campervan
The weight had also officially been changed from 3700t to 3499t to allow to be driven on any license
2 Brand new front News
Lots of life on the rears all terrain tyres
It has a 4kw Planar heater fitters with thermostat remote, great for camping all year round and doesn’t use much power
2 x Leisure batters
Hookup Convertor when on a campsite with 3 point plug when hooked up.
When not at a campsite it has also have a large solar panel,
Roof bars fitted, I just need to fit the second one. I’ve not got around to fitting it
Roof/ skylight fitted above the main bed
Dometic Fridge CRX65 fitted, With fridge and freezer. Currently running of Electricity
Gas Cylinder fitted in sealed storage and air drop in case of leak
2 Hob and sink Smev sink, Cold water only
Ample storage in cupboards and above bed
Swivel driver and front passenger seats for dining area
Seats covert into 2 Child beds in the front. At at pinch could be used for 2 smaller adults
Adults bed above the garage in the rear with amble length and mattress could be extend for 6’5 plus
Massive garage with its own spot lights for working in the dark and charger port
Hidden chemical toilet
All lights can be controlled in sections via switches
Leatherette seat covers for all 6 seats
Mileage is 137k
Rear bike rack for 2x bikes without impeding number plate or lights
Full privacy screens for total blackout
2 large water containers when off grip or additional storage
Can also come with super quick on and off Snow chains and snow socks if the right price is agreed.
Now the bad points
Some of the passenger seat belts are a little stiff from lack of use.
Rust around the arches and patches on the body work, plus underneath (seems to be a constant battle with this model of transit)
The sidestep needs replacing due to rust and other welding required before submitting again for an MOT.
Oil Leak shown as advisory on previous MOT but never fixed as is not a major leak
