Ford Transit Off Grid - Adventure Ready Cosy Conversion

Fully off grid 2 berth Ford Transit 2.2 Trend Campervan (AC, Cruise Control, parking sensors, bluetooth stereo, heated windscreen, electric mirrors, auto headlights). Full service and MOT carried out in June, so MOT’d till June 2027.

The best purchase I ever made, and a heartbreak to be selling. A truly wonderfully unique van which has brought so much happiness.

The conversion is unique, cosy yet sociable and extremely liveable. I have been away for multi month trips, weekends away and also used it is as a daily vehicle (advantage of a medium wheelbase, it’ll fit in a normal parking space). There isn’t really any way of utilising the space in a van of this size any better and still including this generous garage area.

The vehicle itself has had a new engine (+ all associated parts) and clutch changed at 162k in August 2025, and now is sitting at 170k – so the brand new engine has done just 8k – with annual servicing since then, all works professionally done. This brings peace of mind with a slightly older vehicle. It also has must have features like AC and cruise control that is hard to find on a lot of van conversions.

Living space:
– Fixed double bed with memory foam mattress (will leave on a new DUSK duck feather mattress topper)
– Overhead storage at foot and head of bed with LED lighting and little gas rams

– Storage below oven for pots/pans, storage under bed for plates & cutlery (can include all cookware for free if desired)
– Dometic fridge with small freezer. Icy cold beers!

Garage space:
This garage storage is extremely generous and can fit so much outdoor and camping equipment. I used this to store 2x bicycles (front wheels removed) 2x surfboards (on the door), an inflatable paddle board, camp chairs, bbq etc all at the same time. This means that none of this equipment is in the living space, keeping the rest of the van clean and tidy.
