The motorhome conversion was done professionally using the best materials and appliances, built to the very highest standard. Built by Oliver Spendley – furniture maker.
Craftsmanship was of the highest importance throughout this build. Designed to be lived in full time, created with comfort, aesthetic and maximum ergonomic storage in mind.
The intention was to create a peaceful space using natural materials. The large windows allow vast amounts of light in which adds to it feeling spacious. Some of the vehicles unique features include a Solid English Oak kitchen, Hand made artisan Copper sink and pipework, a custom Japanese style bath finished with English Cedar, all handles and light fittings have been hand crafted from English hardwoods.
The vehicle has been fully insulated with Thermal soundproofing closed cell foam foil insulation. Liveable full time, year round. LPG heater and log burner.
The body of the bus is longer that most 811d models and was custom coach built from aluminium that means its rust free and lightweight.
The vehicle was originally owned by Gatwick airport for transporting passengers and luggage within the airport. This explains why it has such low milage and in great condition for its age as it was stored undercover.
