Cute and cosy, Gizmo offers a gorgeous micro camper-van perfect for a single adventurer, a couple or 2 close friends to take on the world. The smaller size means she drives like a car & is much much easier to navigate around confusing city streets, narrow country lanes and busy park-up sleeping spots. Gizmoโs simply perfect for a coastal weekend away, a hiking trip to the highlands, a party weekend at a festival or even a trip of a lifetime through Europe.
She was made with much love and has many of the simple but great features youโll need. Sheโs well insulated with recycled plastic bottle insulation & a reflective foil vapour barrier (comfort tested down to -3 !!) and has been finished with sleek wooden panels (back-varnished for moisture protection) & all-custom furniture. The kitchen counter is made from a re-purposed solid wood table top and provides plenty of surface space for camping stove style cooking – the back door flip-up table is also perfect for cooking alfresco. Thereโs 2x 10L water tanks for fresh/waste water and a foot-pump for supplying water to the sink. Two large under bed drawers, a boot box, kitchen cabinets & an over-cab storage โloftโ provide plenty of storage space but Gizmo also comes with a handy roof rack for carrying all the โnot used that often but still essentialโ essentials. A nifty feature of this van is that the passenger seat folds flat & the adjacent storage box is removable, this creates a large open space for carrying larger items (or maybe a pet bed) when riding solo.
The 175W solar panel on the roof rack provides plenty of juice to the leisure battery (95 Ah AGM), but in case this isnโt enough the DC-DC charger tops it up whilst driving (all Renogy products with monitoring possible through Bluetooth connected mobile app). The leisure battery powers the LED lights, USB sockets & a small 12v electric-cool box (for keeping the basics from spoiling too quickly !!).
Gizmo has given us the best adventures of our lives and as we (somewhat reluctantly) move on to our next adventure in Japan, we hope that she can do the same for you.

Gizmo sleeps up to 2 people using a simple slide out bed design which delivers the full standard length of 190cm (6ft 3in) and just shy of a small double in width (110cm). Custom cushions made from a memory foam mattress form the sleeping pad, which then sits atop reclaimed genuine solid wood bed slats.
