Meet our glorious Gloria! She’s in excellent condition, lovingly converted in 2020, we sat for hours in the empty van deciding how we wanted to build her, then when she was finished 6 months later, we moved in. We lived and travelled in her for 2.5 years, visiting Ireland, Scotland, Wales and so many beautiful places around the UK. We are so sad to say goodbye to her but it’s time for new adventures after buying a house and she deserves to be used and enjoyed.

Gloria is the perfect van for super comfortable weekends away, festivals, beach days, longer travels, vanlife, giving two people plenty of space and storage to live and travel, whether you wish to pop to the beach or Spain!

The interior is white and bright, with plenty of lighting, thoughtfully considered in every area. The spot lights were placed so you’re not standing in your shadow, the under-cabinet LEDs create a lovely warm, cosy atmosphere, the reading lights above the bed placed together so you can point yours away from a sleeping partner.

The windows were placed on one side so if you wanted to be ‘stealth’ you could, looking like a simple white van from one side. Including a secure rack for the solar panels.

We decided to leave the bulkhead in for maximum safety when travelling and cut out a small section for extra light and as a safety hatch should you need to get in or out of the cab.

480 Watts of solar power when you just want to head off-grid and find some peace and quiet.

We spent two winters in the van so the heater was an essential and it has a thermostat to keep it toasty.

The front vent is a fan, for use when cooking and when used in conjunction with the back vent, it provides great circulation, even on the hottest days.

The seats were made a little bigger for extra comfort and lounging, or to seat more people when they pop in for a cup of tea 😊

We love cooking (and eating) so we designed a bespoke kitchen that maximises work space, and so two of us could be in there together. The hob taking up what would have been wasted corner space, giving us plenty of work surface, whilst also having space to put the dishes once you’ve washed up on the other side next to the sink.

The pull-out table is one of our favourite features. Space saving but allowing a large area to play games, eat or paint and it stows away easily. You can even have friends over for games or dinner, the table can happily seat 4 with a stool added at the end.

The kitchen drawers and cupboards are all handmade for the space with soft-close drawers and struts. The top drawer was made with a built-in separator for optimum organisation. And the lovely deep drawers are great for pots and pans and tall olive oil or vinegar bottles. There’s even more storage under the hob, right to the back. A fab little pantry for tins and dry goods.
