We’re reluctantly selling our lovely Campervan “Sylvie” as we need to buy something bigger to accommodate our growing children.
The van has four berths and four belted seats (two of which are ISOfix).
We’ve been on so many great adventures since we bought her x years ago. Highlights have included a trip to the Italian Alps and the Dolomites.
The van has everything you need for a brilliant off-grid adventure – the solar panels power the lights, fridge and water pump. If the weather turns cold, there’s the eberspacher heater which makes the van nice and toasty.
The seat area comfortably seats four people and feels like you’re sitting at a dining room table. The table easily converts into a comfortable double bed. Our 9 year can still sleep in the top bunk but we purchased a camp bed that fits across the front seat for our older child.
There’s loads of space to prep food and cook and we’ve managed to cook meals for large groups of people. The KADAC stove can be used inside the van or outside. The sink is nice and spacious and handy for washing up. And I’ve been surprised by how much we food we can pack into the fridge.
The van was converted by a professional carpenter who had already converted one van prior to converting to Sylvie. He put so much thought into the design – including the use of a swivel table instead of a fixed leg table, which has made moving around the table much easier. He also included lots of thoughtful touches like the butler sink, handmade copper pipe tap, oak work top and Karndean oak floors.
We are the third owners of the van. The van was converted by the second owner and we purchased it from them.
The van is smooth to drive and easy to manoeuvre and has only done 74,000 miles.
The van has been very well looked after with an excellent service history. We’ve just fitted a new car battery, new leisure battery and had the electrics and solar panels checked. It has been recently serviced and will be sold with a 12 month MOT.
