A head turning new conversion by The Secret Van man!
We bought this only 6 weeks ago (the beginning of July) from Joe (in Portsmouth) and have LOVED it (and still do!)..the only thing is I need something slightly bigger (only slightly).
I’m a professional drummer and drums + sleeping over don’t quite fit – A longer wheel base to provide storage for dem pesky drums is the plan.
Joe will be handling the conversion when I find the right vehicle. We both love his work so much.
Since we bought it we’ve had windows fitted (professionally) and curtains all round (good ones not cheapo rubbish).
The van itself is lovely to drive (it purrs in 6th!) and the cabin is equipped with all the top of the range gadgets. Body work is around an 8/10 with a very small dent in one of the wings. Overall a decent solid van that’s been well looked after and serviced from new by a local (to Portsmouth) based company.

The fridge unit encompasses a good size pantry section, whilst there is plenty of easy to use storage running the length of the sofa/third berth. The pull out double bed is super comfy! The kitchen unit with two cupboards completes the storage options. You can also fit a portaloo in her storage units if required.
The kitchen has a worktop space, perfect for a portable stove or for doing your make up in the morning! In addition the sink & hand pump tap provide running water, which is housed underneath one end of the unit in two 10L containers. We like to use 10 litre containers which can be filled up anywhere including fountains, streams, fuel stations etc. Sometimes it can be tricky to fill up permanently fitted tanks if there isn’t a hose which is why we went for easily removable jerry cans.
Electrics wise a DC DC charger provides power to the leisure battery as you drive. Running from this are two USB charging ports, LED lights & an 18 litre fridge. All the electrics are installed by a professional auto technician.
