Bertie the camper has had nothing spared he is top spec everything! From a Truma combi boiler keeping you toasty on a chilly evening and providing you with hot water for washing up or the external shower, a massive 80ltr fridge freezer which is extremely energy efficient, 2 ring gas hob for cooking, and even a Belfast sink! He has a full-size double bed + a single bed!

Bertie has been converted in line with renting regulations; gas, 240v electrics, and weight have all been independently certified. This enables you the option to rent the van out through Quirky Campers if you wish but also provides peace of mind regarding safety. Fully insulated 50mm walls and 25mm Celotex on the ceiling and floor. Perfect for all year-round adventures long or short!

There are 3 ways of charging the leisure battery:
1. The huge 360-watt solar panel on the roof of the van.
2. Battery-to-battery. When the van’s engine is on it sends excess energy to the leisure battery.
3. Plug in and play. When you are at a campsite/home you can plug a mains hook up cable into the side of the van which will charge your batteries and also power the Truma combi (which runs off gas or electricity)

There is a Victron App that you can download which will show you your battery condition and other great information like how much solar you’re bringing in etc.

PLUMBING:
-66Ltr freshwater tank underslung (attached underneath the van)
-50Ltr wastewater tank underslung
-External shower
-Belfast sink with Oak cover
-Kitchen sink tap, pull out spout that has 2 water modes
-Shurflo Trail King 7 pump with filter
-Accumulator

On the Driver’s side of the van, there is a lockable cap in which you fill your freshwater tank. There are 2 taps underneath the van where you can empty your fresh and wastewater.

HEATING:
-Truma combi 2e

The Truma keeps the van nice and toasty in winter with 4 hot air outlets and 12ltrs of hot water!

GAS:
-Calor 7KG butane gas bottle
-2 Ring stove

The gas bottle is stored in a gas locker with a drop out vent under the bed.

KITCHEN AND LIVING:
-Small single bed is made up by the 2 benches being joined in the middle
-Swivel Oak dining table which can be stored over the cab
-Thetford Porta Potti Qube toilet which is stored under the small bench
-Storage underneath the bench
-Storage above the bulkhead
-Professionally upholstered seat cushions and curtains
-Loads of kitchen cupboard storage
-Wine rack
-Overhead clothes storage
-Plenty more storage underneath the bed for bags, bikes, stand up paddle boards etc!
