VW Crossover with Late Bay front
Hettie is looking for her next adventure:
She is a 1976 crossover with a late bay front, with a custom paint job and custom hand built interior.
She has a 1584cc air cooled engine.
She is in good condition both mechanically and body work. She needs a little TLC I’m not experienced to do such as replace broken rear tail gate lock, get the front windows to windows up and down and make small paint work rust repairs.
Her engine was built by one of the best, Laurie Pettit.
She has a pop top with roll giving lots of head space.
She sleeps 4 with a rock n roll bed, (with 2 lap belts), plus 2 children’s bunks.
There is lots of storage cupboards, a double gas hob, sink and pump run tap, an Electrolux 3 way fridge and a gas Propex heater with a timer.
She is an excellent runner and is in good condition for her age.
She also has an MOT until June 2022 although she is of course MOT exempt as she is a classic vehicle.
She is a beautiful van and has graced the centre fold of the Feb 2013 VW Camper Magazine!
Converted from 1976 bus
1 rock n roll bed
2 children’s hammock style beds one front one back
