Due to meticulous and pre-emptive measures, nothing has ever gone wrong with Silvio and he drives flawlessly! It’s in fantastic condition inside and out. The cab still looks fresh out of the factory, and the living area is stylish and practical. There’s a massive amount of storage space inside, and with the added head room, it really does feel like you’re in a cosy studio flat and not a cramped up van.
Silvio is serviced VERY regularly – is Taxed until 1 November 2021 and MOT valid until 11 October 2021.
Silvio has 2 beds; One large, static double bed (the best Ikea mattress there was and it’s super comfy!). And the dining area converts into a very large single bed (but could easily fit 2 children). This bespoke, custom made bed has a medium/firm foam toped with a memory foam for added comfort.
Silvio has been my pride and joy since converting him into a fully-fledged glamper-van almost two years ago. Several hundred hours of research and labour has gone into creating the most perfect home on wheels I could imagine. You can’t fault the drive, and it’s in all-round immaculate condition.
The MASSIVE benefit Silvio offers is his genuine off-grid, stealth ability. With the rear shutter down, no one will ever suspect you’re inside with lights on playing board games, sipping on wine! We’ve travelled extensively though Europe and the UK, staying in some breathtaking locations – all thanks to his stealthy looks and home comforts.
But what good is staying in remote, private locations without power and water? Well that’s why we fitted him with a massive 100L fresh water tank, a 12L boiler for hot water and long showers, a massive 600W of solar on the roof, and a HUGE LiFeYPO4 (3.2V/300Ah) battery (I went overkill on this. I’d rather have too much power. Even in the height of winter you’ll never run low!). With a massive water supply and virtually endless 12V/240V power supply, you can stay off-grid for days at a time, without the need to check-in to a campsite. On the road, we found an average saving of Β£25p/n by ‘stealthing’ it. Not to mention the stunning beaches, mountain tops etc. we’ve woken up to. Alternatively, park in the middle of town and head out… you won’t have far to stumble!

Iβve maintained Silvio meticulously with love β even changing things before they needed changing. Iβve always wanted him to run smoothly without facing any problems on the road and have had Silvio serviced 2-3 times a year.
