Ideal family off grid adventure Transit camper

The van has been converted and regularly used for a family of four with two teenage children with great success. With smaller children five would be possible. The intention has been to keep all requirements within a 6m long van allowing for easier manoeuvrability in rural road and car park type situations.
Belted seating for 5. Front is a Drivers captains chair, and double passenger side bench seat, as per original Ford layout with the addition of 2 forward facing rear seats which are removable if required.
All front seats rotate to face rearward, and with the addition of the table top, form a dining/table area for 5 people.
Stowed behind the rear seat and hidden away in a cupboard/ step is the porta potti toilet.
Either side of the central walkway is the kitchen area, including ample oak worktop space and storage. One side includes a Dometic CRE 50 Fridge. 50 litre capacity with optional freezer draw. A sink with a water pump powered cold water tap. A pull out bottle rack and a large cupboard with door mounted waste bin.
The opposite side includes a Thetford 3 ring hob with oven and grill. Gas is supplied via a rear mounted LPG bottle that is housed in gas safe locker with external safety ventilation and off tap for travelling.
The units and rear wall of the kitchen area include numerous cupboards and cubby holes for storage.
The rear of the van incorporates a high double bed. The bed slides out at night over the top of the kitchen area and retracts in the day for access to the kitchen.
Under the bed and accessible from the rear doors is ‘garage style’ large storage area, ideal for boots, coats, toys, camping equipment etc. This area includes storage for the gas bottle and the electrical system.

Additionally the van comes equipped with:-
– Rear tinted side windows in the passenger area including fitted non flap curtains. As well as tinted rear door windows.
– Front window thermal blinds. Sucker type fitting.
– 75 litre underslung water tank.
– 50 litre underslung grey waste tank.
– Water and wastewater light board showing state of fill.
– Gas and CO2 detector.
– 4x USB charging ports.
– 6x Roof touch sensitive LED spot lights.
– Max flow remote control air vent. Air in or out at 10 different speeds. With water cover so can be used when raining.
– Shelter pod drive away awning for additional sleeping space.
– Kitchen mounted fire blanket and rear mounted fire extinguisher.
– Door step with fold down legs.

The van is entirely 12v off grid and powered by Twin 130 Ah Leisure batteries. The batteries can be charged when driving or when on camp by either :
– twin 150 watt Roof mounted solar panels controlled by an Epever Triron MPPT solar charge controller
– a Duratec split charge relay

The van has been amazing for our family of four, travelling around the UK and Europe. Many happy memories, but unfortunately the kids are no longer children and have their own adventures to go on. We are therefore reluctantly downsizing to a van for two.
