IVECO DAILY 35S13 LWB
Fitted with a 2.3l diesel engine and 6-gear manual transmission. The engine has never skipped a beat since I’ve owned it.
Previously a refrigerated professional delivery vehicle and kept in good condition, purchased in 2018 with low milage.
Around 25-40 MPG depending on load and terrain.
Bodywork in good condition for its age with a few scrapes here and there (see photos).
Valid MOT until end of May 2025.
New set of tyres recently fitted!
This was a great lockdown project which became our full-time home for three years, sad to see it go but no longer need it!
Originally a refrigerated van for vegetable transport, most of the 50mm EPS insulation I re-fitted, recessed in the panels with expanding foam, rockwool, and Reflectix.
The interior is mainly wood, with reclaimed, authentic floorboards, tongue-in-groove pine cladding, and green subway tiles.
The dining table and kitchen counter are lacquered red cedar.
The conversion has a 325W solar panel and split-charge relay for off-grid living.
My partner and I managed to live in the van, all-year-round off of the solar, with small, daily trips to top up the leisure battery. A Victron charger can also be used with a 230V domestic input to further charge/condition the leisure battery
There are 12V and 230V circuits powering:
– Multiple LED spotlights
– Fridge/freezer
– USB ports and 230V outlets
– Water pump
The oven and hobs are both gas, fed by a 6kg propane bottle in sealed, fixed gas compartment with external escape vent. The oven also contains a small, gas grill.
Glastonbury woodburner with insulated flue, heats the space really quickly when it’s cold and creates a brilliant atmosphere.
Collapsible dining table capable of seating four, can be removed to provide extra space.
An underslung watertank provides water for cleaning and washing to the kitchen sink which has a plumbed-in drain.
Registered as an insulated van.
The van could benefit from a new starter battery or a battery recondition, as it gets depleted if left undriven for long periods of time and requires charging
Wooden-mounted double bed, 185 x 150cm
