Vehicle Description

‘Julie Vandrews’ is a professionally converted high roof Ford Transit T350 campervan. This off grid and stealth looking camper is ready for years of wonderful adventures! (Only being sold as we now have a little boy so looking for something bigger)

2010 Ford Transit T350 115. High roof. Long wheel base. Diesel. 2402cc (2.4L). 166,611 miles on the clock.

A fully reconditioned engine was fitted in 2021 so the van drives beautifully. When engine was fitted ‘Julie’ also had a new clutch and flywheel kit, battery, radiator, thermostat, metering valve, drive belt and alternator tensioner. Comes with a detailed invoice for all work as well as a comprehensive service history.

Bodywork: Good standard for the age, some small dents and scuffs as you’d expect for the age. ‘Julie’ had a bodywork respray over Christmas.

Conversion Description

Insulation : Fully insulated using celotex boards. 75mm thick on all walls and doors & 25mm on the ceiling. Spray foam insulation was used in all the hard to reach areas.

Cladding : Ceiling is clad in tongue and grooved timber cladding that has received two coats of woodstain. Walls are clad in PVCu interior cladding making it very easy to clean.

Hob: Sia gas hob with 2 rings. Fed directly from the propane cylinder below in the kitchen unit (propane cylinder shown is not included in the sale for gas safe regs)

Fridge: 38 litre 2 way fridge that can be run off 12v or 240v.

Lights: 6 LED lights. 4 covering the kitchen section and 2 covering bed section. These bed lights are on a separate switch that’s fixed right next to the bed for easy access.
A bright external light has been fitted to the side of the van to help with those dark nights on your travels!
Toilet: Thetford 365 porta potti toilet, sits in secure framework on runners to be easily pulled out for those emergencies and nicely hidden away behind roller doors the rest of the time!

Electrical equipment & specifications:
100W solar panel fitted to the roof that charges both leisure batteries
Digital solar controller is fixed in the kitchen wall unit for easy access.
2 x 100ah leisure batteries have been fitted in the electrical area located under the fixed bed. (for full transparency the leisure batteries may need changing as I am unsure they are storing charge fully at present – we didn’t want to invest in changing them due to selling the vehicle).
1100W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter DC 12V to 240V AC with LCD Display and Remote Controller built into kitchen worktop.
6 Gang Waterproof Rocker Switch panel 12v/24v digital voltage display with dual 5 V USB charging Sockets.
Split charge relay fitted to charge leisure batteries when on the move.
Battery charger fitted to charge batteries when plugged in at a campsite.
240v socket from battery power or 240v hook up.
240v external hook up is fixed to side of the van for easy plug in.
Electrical system is designed for safe isolation of every circuit if necessary.
Safety fuses and resettable circuit breakers used throughout.

Sink and Tap: The sink is a large stainless steel sink with removable drainer basket. The tap is a high quality cold feed tap with built in aerater to avoid splashing. The tap is connected to a 12v water pump that is switch operated and is directly fed by a 25 litre water tank under the sink. There is an access point to refill the tank from the outside of the van – this fitting needs to be joined directly to the tank (this will be shown upon viewing)

Fan: There is a 12v switch controlled extractor fan positioned directly above the hob.

Table: Fold down table with easy push release brackets. Has been designed to be able to use for extra worktop space in the kitchen as well as being the perfect height to sit on the bed and eat at the table.

Storage: The van has a lot of storage space including – A large over cab store that’s hidden behind the thermal curtain. 2 deep shelves located to the side of the toilet. A full bed width wall unit above the bed area. A wall unit above the kitchen. Aswell as a very large double garage section below the bed, this is accessed through the back doors.

Bed: This Camper has been designed with a fixed bed. It comes with a rarely used custom made 6ft × 4ft 6″ double mattress. The mattress is a very comfortable 9” thick coil sprung.

Projector: In the wall unit above the bed there is a projector holder fixed in place at the perfect angle to watch on the opposite wall whilst you’re in bed. (The device we use is a Nebula & fits perfectly)
