General state of van bodywork – The van has previously had some welding which has held up nicely. There were a few surface level rust spots before I repainted her which is to be expected on a van of this age, they were all addressed and the whole van reprimed and painted. I should expect in time it will need some more welding on the sills but all crucial areas are fine.
General state of van mechanically – I couldn’t fault the van mechanically. It has always pulled strong and continues to stop and turn in good time. It has recently had a new clutch, tyres too are relatively new, brakes, suspension, exhaust etc. is good all round. There are a few things that I have been keeping an eye on. Shock absorbers & bushes mainly, which I will change out before the sale of the van.
But it has always done me well.
