Ford transit 100 T350 RWD MWB Medium Roof
Lovely Ford transit 2.2L diesel stealth Camper/work van. I work away alot so converted this van from scratch with suitable/comfy living area yet still enough room in the back to use as a work van day to day and fit all my tools in. I based the design on the inside on a bowtop wagon so its super cosy and has some nice homly touches. Although it was very suited to my needs, it wouldnt take much to turn into a full camper if you wanted to turn the back section into a double bed with storage underneath, to maximise the living space if desired. Only selling due to converting a lorry for my next project but has been a great van. It is an ex fleet vehicle from Murphys, London so has been very well looked after – serviced every 6 weeks of its life and never failed an MOT! Cam chain snapped in October 2021 so spent £3500 on a full reconditioned engine replacement and brand new clutch, and spent £750 on all new brake pads and 1 new rear disc and calliper last month. MOT valid till October 2022 and only roughly 10,000 miles since the engine was replaced. Will be a very really reliable camper, Has got me to work all over the country and always been a nice place to rest my head at the end of the day. Imaculate bodywork, only a small scratch on the sliding door where i caught a bollard. Sad to see it go, but will make a fantastic home or camper for the right person.
Many thanks,
Max 🙂
Based of a bowtop wagon, it has a lovely cosy feel with homly features. Nice georgian oak stained toungue and groove cladding with copper nails, plenty of underbed storage, vintage and thick velvet curtains to keep in the heat hung on copper rails with hand forged curtain hoops, hand forged coat hooks, vintage persian rug, lovely floral fabric cieling, antique victorian school teachers desk upcycled into a mini welsh dresser as a kitchen unit with mug hooks and slide out choping board, repurposed waney edge pine board along the bedside to hold matress in, 1 led interior light. I fully insulated the van with 25mm kingspan thermal insulation panels on the cieling and the floor, 50mm in the stud wall and itch free recycled plastic insulation wool in walls, covered with a silver bubble foil vapour barrier. I also have a brand new windy smithy 2kw wendy log burner with full flue kit, i never got round to fitting it but can be optionaly purchased with the van.
It only has one comfy single bed, but has potential to convert the back area ito a double bed with storage underneath, which would then turn the current bed into a sofa or optional 3rd berth.
