Mercedes 206D
1974 Mercedes 206D Campervan
A unique and rare campervan. Due to the age and originality of the vehicle it is both tax and MOT exempt. Extensive documentation and receipts available.
Sleeps four, two adults in a double bed made by rearranging the seating, and two children (small adults) in canvas hammocks which pull out from the side of the camper over the double bed.
It has a shower area, toilet, sink, fridge, cooker with grill and oven.
This vehicle was a barn find by the previous owner who had most of the bodywork and mechanicals rectified but due to a change in their circumstances were unable to dedicate the time to finish the interior.
Previous owner work (all receipts available)
• Welding and repair bodywork (photos available)
• New brake pipes
• Reconditioned engine replacement
• Front and rear shock absorbers
• Brake and clutch flexi hoses
• Clutch drive plate
• Exhaust downpipe replaced
• Fuel tank chemically cleaned and sealed
• Brake master cylinder replacement
• Under chassis seal
• Reconditioned alternator
• New water pump
We purchased the camper and have upgraded the interior to a modern-day spec. We have been careful to ensure that the main vehicle electrics, drive train and mechanicals are all original to preserve MOT exempt status.
Furnishings
Given that the camper was sat in a chicken shed for an unknown amount of time all the cushions and curtains have been replaced with custom made replacements. The cushion foam is specifically for campervans and makes a comfortable bed as well as seating.
Engine cover has been fitted with internal sound deadening and covered to match with new interior.
Safety
Two three-point seatbelts have been professionally fitted to the two forward facing seats in the rear of the campervan.

There is a set of four freshly powder coated white wheels ready to have new tyres fitted and put on the campervan.
There is a collection of spare parts available which can come with the campervan.
