We converted this van last year and have mainly used it for weekend trips and the occasional week away. The van features a bespoke kitchen that has a Vitrifrigo fridge, full size sink and tap (cold water only). The kitchen worktop is made of solid beech and has a large preparation area, storage locker, cutlery drawer and under cupboard storage. The cold water and waste tanks are located inside the van and feed water to the taps via a Shurflow pump and accumulator. A portable hob is included which is great for cooking both inside and outside of the van. At the centre of the van there are two bench seats (a single and double) with professionally upholstered foam seats. A pull out table (made from the same beech as the kitchen worktop) extends from under the double bed providing room for three people to eat. At the rear of the van there is a full size double bed mounted widthways which includes a new memory foam mattress, LED reading lamps and USB sockets. A third child’s bed can be made up by removing the backrest of the bench seat. A small portable toilet is located under the single box seat and can be pulled out at night. Underneath the main bench seat, we have installed a diesel heater which provides heat to the front and back of the van. The van includes a roof mounted Maxxfan Deluxe with remote control which is installed next to the bed. We have installed 2 x 110Ah AGM leisure batteries which are connected to Victron 500va Multiplus Invertor, Victron BMV-712 bluetooth battery monitor, Victron bluetooth solar controller and roof mounted 200W Monocrystalline Delta Black Solar panel which is perfect for going off grid. The van is fully insulated and has three new external windows (one opening in the side and two on the barn doors) that were professionally fitted and have custom insulated window covers that magnetically attach to them. We are selling as we have moved to a new home and don’t have enough time to make full use of our van.
One full size double bed fitted across the rear of the van. One small child’s bed that is is approximately 80cm x 190cm which is made up from the bench seat and continues under the double bed.
