This lovely campervan was built in 2021 by professional Cambridge-based builders, Tatanka Campers. It was successfully rented as a Quirky Camper Rental Van between 2021 and 2024. It was modified privately in early 2024 to make it suitable for a trip around the UK that involved permanently living in the van for a period of 6 months (this involved adding further storage space, garage space, extra water storage, a laundry shoot, and a place for a camping toilet). Since then, it has also had two new tyres, a new clutch, welding work done, and multiple services.

Seating: In the back, an L-shaped bench area provides ample seating. The back of the bench lifts to store bedding within. Dining table stores under sink. In the cabin, two belted seats with front headrests.

Bed: Double or Single – your choice. The back of the L-shaped bed stores duvet and pillows and lifts up to reveal a spacious single bed. Secure another panel (stored in the garage) to convert it to a double.

Electrical setup: Designed for both campsite and wild camping, and most importantly, is easy to use. Can be easily hooked up when on site, giving access to 2 x three-pin plugs, a built in USB charger, auto-ignition on the hob. When wild camping, the solar panel is connected to a Jackery battery that charges the fridge and offers another USB charge point (NB: three-pin plug output on Jackery does not work; all other points work fine – I have never used the three-pin on the Jackery because USB charger is suitable for phone/laptop, and when plugged into mains, there are two three-pin plugs in the van itself). The sink is powered via the car battery under the driver seat.

Cooking: Two-burner gas hob. Gas bottle stored under the kitchen top. Vent in the wall above the hob. Ample space for cooking equipment. Cooler box fridge included, connected to Jackery/solar battery – could be reconnected to leisure battery with ease.

Water and Sanitation: 20L clean water storage + additional waste water storage. Kitchen sink that can be covered to create more kitchen workspace. Space for camping toilet (can be included in sale if wanted) under the L-shaped bench. Hidden toilet roll holder. Laundry hatch located under the L-shaped bench.

Audio equipment: Van stereo, radio, CD and wireless Bluetooth adapter to Spotify/iTunes etc. Phone holder included.

Heating: A camp heater can be connected to three-pin plug when in campsite. Previous (2021) design included a log burner which could easily be re-installed and can be included in the sale.

Storage: Loads of storage above the cabin (enough for camp chairs and table, plus storage boxes). Three cupboards in the garage. Three cupboards at eye-height in the back. Four large pull-out drawers . Additional storage under sink. Shoe rack. Pet bed area (with removable door; medium dog bed sized) that can be used for bags/shoes as another function. — In addition: laundry hatch + toilet store offer additional storage locations that can be repurposed.

PRICED TO SELL. THINGS THAT NEED FIXING:
– Skylight could do with being replaced. There is a crack in it that has been made water tight.
– Door handle (side door) needs replacing. It is working but there is a crack in the plastic.
– Back door latch fault. Has been like this since I bought in 2024 – no problem to drive – flagging for transparency.
– Over winter, I had a problem where the van was losing revs between low gears. This has been checked by mechanics multiple times – they cannot find a fault. I think the cause could have been running the fuel too low and pulling dirt through the system (possibly disrupting fuel pump filter or vacuum hose). This has not been an issue more recently.
