It is with a heavy heart that I have to sell my van which has been lovingly converted over the last few years. It has had a few upgrades since the initial conversion to ensure everything has been installed with usability on the road in mind. So you can have confidence it doesn’t just look good, it’s tried and tested!

Van-life hacks to make life on the road as easy as possible:
– Tunnel under the bed for rear-storage access (if you’re a solo traveller, it’s handy not having to get out of the van in the dead of night to get something), it also doubles as somewhere to keep the dog bed.
– As much storage as we could build to make sure there’s somewhere to squirrel away all of your stuff
– Kingsize-width bed (175cm length), with pocket sprung mattress – because a comfy bed should be the most important thing in the van!
– Decent size 240v fridge/freezer (because 12v fridges are far too small to fit a decent shopping haul in)
– Discrete hose attached to grey waste to subtly empty on the side of the road without having to take the waste tank out of the van.
– Completely off grid – can go for about 2 days with no sun and no movement, once you add in the sun and/or moving the van you can go indefinitely
– Shoe storage on the back doors to keep muddy shoes off the floor
– Towel rails in the van and on the back doors to ensure you can dry towels
– Multiple lights for both functionality & aesthetics (spotlights in ceiling, headboard & footboard lighting, spotlights under storage, strip lighting on the van door to light outside, light in the rear storage area)

– MaxxAir Fan with in/out air & automatic temp controls (perfect for leaving animals in the van)
– Sink with cold water pump
– Blackout curtains
This is a self-build conversion with professional/expert guidance on electrics and plumbing, and carpenter support on the build. The van was weighed post-conversion at 2755kg, a certificate wasn’t provided as this is a paid-for service. If you would like evidence prior to purchase, this can be arranged upon request.
