Mercedes Sprinter LWB
2.1L diesel, 6 gears, body work is in good condition for its age, a few minor knocks and one small patch of chipped paint which has been sealed.
Ex-DPD van of which they do not provide a service history due to the sheer volume of vans that they have but its previous MOT history is good.
MOT valid until November 2025 no advisories
We have upgraded the suspension and used sumo springs so this is what the mechanics saw.
Windows added to back doors, sliding door, by rear passenger seats and to the rear of the van. For aesthetics the middle panel has a window which is visible from the outside but it is not visible from inside the van as it has not been cut into the van.
There is a recall which I have been unable to take the van for as of yet. But this is free to have done from Mercedes.
The vehicle will be due a service hence a lower sale price than others on the site.
A lovingly made conversion that enabled our family of four to move up to Scotland and we lived in it full time for a number of months. A much loved van and a sad sale due to a change of family circumstances.

External 230v mains inlet and water filler inlet

We have a shower hose which connects onto our tap for washing down feet etc outside the side door of the van.
We have a small portable baby bath which we used for the children. If needed it would be easy to add in a rear shower system to the back of the van to use with the doors open.
There is an eyelet curtain rail installed at the back of the front cab to allow for quick privacy in the back of the van without putting all of the blinds up.
Lots of storage space in cupboards, drawers and back benches and above the front cabin as we made this van to live in so we prioritised storage space over having an internal inbuilt toilet and shower.
Lots of natural light from the extra windows we put in to make it feel bigger and more airy.
Table which can be stowed away in back bench when not in use.
The cushion covers have been professionally made. There is enough fabric left for the last two bolster cushions to be done too. In reality we rarely used these cushions.
The bench seats at the back of the van convert into a superking bed using bed slats which slot into the central gap and rearranging the cushions into the space.
There is the mattress for the child’s bed too if desired.
Internal fresh water tank 57L, removable internal grey waste water caddy under sink. Due to being in Scotland in the winter we did not want to install underslung tanks.
A superking bed to the rear (made from two single foam mattresses) which is a bench seat during the day. And high bunk for one child.
This will comfortably sleep 3 and due to the size of the bottom bed we had a child in there with us too enabling us to sleep 4.
