Here is our beloved 2014 Ford Transit Custom camper van, professionally converted by M2M Conversions.
This isn’t your typical pristine van that can’t get muddy; equipped with BF GOODRICH All Terrain Tyres this camper van is primed for adventures – it’s a rugged van for getting ‘out there’. It’s taken us to Dartmoor, the Lake District, Cornwall, Brecon and all over the UK!
Inside, you’ll find a host of features tailored for comfort and convenience. A Diesel Heater with a digital display, a modern kitchen setup boasts a 12V fridge (with small freezer), sink with tap (supported by a 10L water tank and 10L waste water tank), a pull-out pantry, and a bamboo work surface. We have always cooked with the CADAC 2 burner hob (not included but available new for less than 100), which works for indoor to outdoor use and fits perfectly under the seats.
Sleeping arrangements are versatile, allowing you to convert the space into a comfortable double bed by dropping the table down or flipping the bed unit over. Ample storage, including pull-out drawers and compartments, keeps your gear organised, and a door to slide-out a chemical toilet for convenience. The van itself is insulated and lined with the best DODO Mat for soundproofing and thermal efficiency, while the interior is decorated with Farrow & Ball and bamboo finishes.
The camper is powered by a leisure battery with the option to plug into a 240V source when on site. There are multiple USB charging points and standard plugs in the van itself.
Included, that sets up quickly, is the attached Thule pull-out awning, with sides that attached. This camper is equally at ease ‘off-grid’ as it is at a campsite/touring park.
During our ownership, we’ve enhanced this camper with complete tyre upgrades to the All Terrain BF Goodrich KO2, by completing any MOT advisories, New DPF fitted FEB 24, a full set of brake discs & pads JUNE 23, replaced Fuel Filter 23, new alternator 24. A few small marks here and there, but nothing major or overly noticeable. Mileage will increase slightly as still being used.
We have a large VANGO drive away awning that would be available for additional cost.
