Inspired by my love of Moroccan and Scandinavian design this stunning tiny home on wheels was built by a highly experienced team of professional craftsmen over a 2 year period with over 2000 man hours !
No expense was spared sourcing the best materials and fittings from far and wide to create a magical space that has been built with love and obsessive attention to detail ……….from the Sapele hardwood cladding and joinery ………To the locally sourced cedar and Douglas fir interior all beautifully finished with traditional Scandinavian lye and soap.

I built this tiny home to pursue my long term dream of living off grid in the Portuguese mountains and was never my intention to ever sell hence the obsessive attention to detail ! Due to the complex matriculation regulations in Portugal I am unable to import her so it is with a heavy heart that I must now let her go !
I am a professional builder with over 40 years experience in. Design and building.

BASE VEHICLE

Built from the ground up onto an ex Royal Mail Iveco daily chassis cab with the super reliable 2.8 turbo diesel …..Old school reliability with zero electronics to go wrong ! She has just completed her maiden voyage driving all the way through France ,Spain and Portugal never skipping a beat.

New clutch , cam belt and water pump and will come with a full service and fresh mot. There is a double reversing camera fitted to the rear giving both a reversing and rear view camera

This a 6.5 ton truck so you will either need a Grandad license or have taken your HGV training to drive it. The finished build weighs just under 6 tons and has just under half a ton of payload and will come with a print out from the local weigh bridge.

EXTERIOR

The exterior cladding is from expensive hardwood Sapele which will last a lifetime and age to a beautiful bleached silver grey .
The stable doors. French doors and roof skylights were all built by skilled local joiner and fitted with hand forged ironwork and solid brass winders for the large sky lights. The over engineered GRP roof will last 25 years plus. The tiny home has now been through 2 winters and has been completely water tight

INTERIOR

A combination of Douglas fir, Larch and Cedar sourced from a local saw mill in West Sussex and grown within 5 miles of the build.

Natural sheep’s wool insulation which regulates humidity combined with the wooden build creates a space that breaths with zero mould and virtually no condensation.. There is 100mm of sheep’s wool in the ceiling and 75mm in all the walls.

Lighting from Pooky in the kings road and hand punched Moroccan brass shades all fitted with dimmable blue light blocking bulbs.

The beautiful wood burner was imported from New Zealand at great expense and professionally fitted by a Hetas engineer using a high quality twin wall flue system.

ELECTRICS AND HOT WATER

6 double sockets all hand sprayed to match the stove with both 240v and USB. All fitted by a qualified electrician. There is a 400 watt solar panel on the roof powering power by the 400 watt solar panel on the roof and external hookup powering the 2.5kw batteries and has been designed for easy expansion .

Bobil vans hybrid hot water system can be ran from 240 hookup, solar or from the diesel heater . Both the diesel heater ,and 12 volt were installed by a Bobil vans registered installer.

The price is £60,000 and would cost a lot more to build now ! once a deposit is taken I will need a month to complete all the finishing touches, and re soap all the wood work. There will be some choices for the new owner to make such as front cab final colour, stained glass colour for the removable skylight panel in the loft and some other finishing options. Sighted on a piece of land with a deck and awning this would do well for air B&B and could also double as a home office . The foot print is similar to a Shepherd’s hut with the added advantage of having the spacious loft and glamping trips away…..

It will come with a full years mot and full service as well as gas safety certificate, heats certificate and weigh bridge print out.
