Meet ‘Bluebell’
A 2013 ford transit handcrafted camper van. She was our full time home for a year. The space is homely and nourishing.
The conversion is created using birch ply, which creates a really soft, natural, fresh feeling to the van.
*The van compromises of a seating area which turns into a small double bed (foam mattress) a little foldout table and kitchen area
*Thetford triplex oven, hob and grill (which runs off the gas bottle) and is very efficient.
*gas bottle is stowed safely away in a lock up cupboard
*Little fridge with freezer compartment
*2 leisure batteries and solar panels. (SmartSolar charge controller)
*Fresh water tank and waste water tank
*Portable loo
*Pure Sine Inverter (240v)
*5 plug sockets and 2 USB charge sockets and 2 light switches

I had the electrics and gas checked and serviced when I brought the van 2 years ago
The space has so much storage which is something we needed when living in it full time, push out drawers for clothes, shelving unit, wardrobe and lots of big cupboards. It’s great for short and also long trips away and excellent for a full time living tiny home on wheels
We went all the way up to Scotland last summer, to Fort William, and the van didn’t miss a beat. Very comfortable to drive.
We’ll miss Bluebell but I can’t justify keeping her, with now living in a house and a change of circumstances.

The ‘sofa’ seating area converts into a bed using slates of wood – these slot into place, to become a small double bed. Very easy to put together.
