MEET MO - BESPOKE 2015 VAUXHALL MOVANO. FULLY EQUIPPED FOR YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE!

We are two New Zealanders who bought Mo as a near-new professional conversion in July 2023 and have spent an incredible year exploring Europe with him. But the time has come for us to return home which means we are sadly selling up. We have travelled right across Europe through all seasons and can definitely say this is the van for all adventures, be it off-grid, city escapes, or campsites. Mo is fully kitted out with everything you would need to live and travel long term, or for short getaways.

The campervan has off-grid capabilities with a solar panel fitted and split charge relay system so the two leisure batteries are always charging whether driving or parked. There is a 240V electrics system for when you have an external power supply. There are ample plug sockets and USB ports throughout the van. We have never had problems with power, having spent up to 5 nights in one location without driving or electric hookup. The solar panel will keep the fridge powered when you are not using the van for weeks on end. You can connect via bluetooth to the Victron Smart Charger unit to see how the batteries are charging when driving.

There is a Fiamma side awning which is perfect for hot summer days or even rainy ones, allowing you to expand your living space outside the van. Included is an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy this space.

The indoor living space is very comfortable with two bench seats and a fold-up table. The bed is a fixed, raised bed with comfortable double memory foam mattress, so you don’t need to spend time every morning and night making up or putting away your bedding. We are both about 5’11” and have slept well here! There is smart TV which works off 12V or 240V so you can have all your home comforts when on the road as well.

The kitchen cupboards have ample storage space, as well as under each of the seats. Below the sink is the gas bottle, water drum with submersible 12V pump, and waste water drum. Under the fixed bed and accessed from the rear doors is a huge amount storage space for all your extra gear, including two large drawers. A Thule bike rack on the rear door allows you to take your bikes on your adventures. Bikes can also be stored in the large space under the bed.

As the van was professionally converted, Mo is fully insulated and is very warm when in winter conditions. The gas heater can quickly heat the living space, and the portable electric heater means you can save gas when you have 240V electricity supply. The van also comes with custom-made thermal window covers to help with insulation in cold weather.

A Thetford chemical PortaPotty is stowed discretely under the bed behind a door. It sits on a trolley which allows it to be easily accessed. Also included is a 12V water pump with shower head and a pop-up shower tent to allow you to shower in private when camping off-grid. Using a solar bag to heat water has allowed us to have great warm showers on the road.

As we have just returned from our European adventures, Mo is all kitted out with loads of extras so you can hit the road straight away. This includes required kit for European driving (2 x reflective vests, 2x warning triangles and a fire extinguisher). The van will also come with snow chains and has all-season tyres which are compliant for winter driving across Europe. There is a spare wheel and tools.

Mo has been a fantastically reliable camper and we would love to see him adopted by someone who will also get great pleasure from using him for their adventures whether that be locally or further afield.
