Vauxhall Vivaro LWB
Rare long wheel base for extra room, plus pop-top, Diesel, 1995 cc, 6 gears, lots of service history (last serviced 8,500 miles ago), age related dents and scrapes to bodywork but a very solid van, MOT Jan 26.
🌻 Meet Van-Gogh
Your next little adventure partner — creative, practical, and full of soul.
Van-Gogh is a professionally converted 2014 Vauxhall Vivaro, lovingly designed by Moveable Routes (ex-retail designers known for their clever use of space). Every inch of this van has been thoughtfully planned — from the stone sink and secret safe to the cosy dog kennel with a heated floor mat. It’s the perfect balance of home comfort and wild freedom.
Whether you’re heading off for a weekend in the Lakes, a festival road trip, or a quiet night under the stars, Van-Gogh is ready to roll. With solar power, electric hook-up and heaps of storage, you can travel light, live big, and stay off-grid as long as your heart desires.
✨ The Space
Pop-top roof for standing room (essential when cooking) and ventilation.
Convertible small double bed with a super-comfy memory foam mattress.
Stone sink with cold-water tap and beautiful natural finish.
High end integrated fridge-freezer (stays on permanently if you wish) and 2-burner hob with gas bottle.
Fold-away table for dining or remote working.
Dog kennel with heated floor mat (or extra storage).
Laundry chute, secret safe, shoe rack, spice shelf, and more — every detail has a purpose.
**NEW additions included**:
Back awning (picture is not of Van-Gogh as I’ve only just discovered this awning!). Makes it possible to open the back doors for coffee with a view and still be shielded by the elements.
Orange canopy which has only been used once and slides into the awning rail.
⚡ Power & Practicality
2 x leisure batteries with split charger (charges via the solar as well as the alternator)
Solar panel with inverter (can run the fridge freezer, lights and charge phones off grid)
Electric hook-up for campsite stays
Extractor fan, USB and 230V sockets, secret charging drawer
Fully insulated rear doors
Diesel heater (currently not working – if replacement needed they cost circa £80.00)
Magnetic window cover for privacy
Rear ladder for roof/solar access
Garage storage (for toilet, spare water container, and awning etc. accessible inside & out)
🛠️ Honest Bits
Van-Gogh is in good working order and starts first time, every time.
There are some scratches and dents to the bodywork (see photographs for main damage), and I’ve noticed that the diesel heater has stopped working recently — I’m sure it’ll be an easy fix, however I’ve priced this fairly to reflect those points.
Otherwise, she’s solid, reliable, and ready for her next chapter. A full mechanical inspection was carried out before I bought her in 2022 and confirmed she’s a great van. I’m happy for you to arrange the same, so that you have peace of mind to drive away. It’s a couple of hundred pounds well spent in my opinion. Recent maintenance invoice also available.
🌞 Extras
Camping toilet (fits neatly at the end of the bed for use during the night and stows away during the day)
Fire extinguisher & blanket.
Magnetic window cover, curtains, permanent plant pots (because cosy matters)
Dog-friendly design.
Can be used stealthily with the roof down and feels safe with the central locking/alarm on (can still move around in the back and have the lights on etc. without detection)
❤️ Why I’m Selling
I’ve absolutely loved Van-Gogh, but I bought her when I was single, and now our family has grown and we need a little more space. She deserves another owner that’ll take her on new adventures.
The L shaped seating area turns into a small, very comfortable, double bed, with lots of storage underneath for clothes, shoes, towels and bedding.
