Conversion Description

This Van is just stunning, it’s a very solid, clean example. I’m a cabinet maker by trade and run my own an Eco Home building company so everything was done using professionals. I’ve only just finished the conversion and had no intention of ever selling but with another baby on the way we’ve had to replace it with a 4×4 LWB Sprinter.
We’ve owned the van for 7 years and have used it in various forms of conversion (most things half finished!) we’ve travelled to south Spain and all around Ireland in it. In the time that we’ve owned it it’s had nearly everything done on it, suspension, brakes, brake likes, bushes, turbo, all new vac lines etc. 4wd system recently overhauled. I have a fleet of works vehicles and this gets regularly serviced and maintained along with them, regardless of its little use. It’s on 156k miles which is nothing on these older bullet proof engines (before they started making them out of chocolate) It’s a super capable, park anywhere van for that truly wild camping experience. The 4wd is also very handy for getting you and your mates out of muddy festival fields, playing in the snow and getting through floods etc.

As a family we’re very into our music so a lot of time was spent designing the best quality sound system. This is done using a pair of 200w B&W home cinema speakers that reside in the kitchen cupboards, behind the lift off doors. These speakers have been engineered to be easily removable if more space is required, either out of the van completely or onto the floor at arrival of destination. We added a third seat on arrival of our first baby, this is leather to match the others and is removable using an Allen key so that it can be taken out entirely or just turned round at destination, even used and left under the awning or stowed onto the roof rack.

It’s hard to value such a vehicle as there’s countless hours gone into the build with no expense spared and literally nothing else like it on the market. We’ll be extremely sad to see it go but needs must. I’m open to sensible offers and I’ll let the interest decide the value. Will come with a full 12 months MOT. The registration plate is private and will come on its original Reg- DE51 CJJ. Please feel free to contact me on 07815020661.
