The Pod has been converted by GV Conversions, we usually take commission builds but this is a one-off custom build that is now for sale! We are fully booked for 2021 and will begin to take further bookings at the beginning of 2022. This is a great chance to get hold of one of the few conversions we complete each year.
This vehicle has been designed as an off-grid camper, fully self-sufficient with three methods of charging, complete Victron Energy Bluetooth Smart electrical system, Diesel 5kW Night Heater, 3 x 25Litre water tanks, and Thetford Oven/Grill & Millar 2 burner Hob. You can truly adventure in this vehicle and never have the need to plug in or shore up to a caravan park. It really stands out from the rest and is a one-of-a-kind quirky build.
This vehicle is ready for some awesome adventures, it’s triple-insulated, including a vapor barrier with all conversion photos available upon request – ready for 4 season use – loads of storage space, room for bikes, surfboards, skis, kitesurf/ windsurf gear, way more room than a T5 or similar vehicle. Full standing room up to 6ft 2. and plenty of interior space, you could travel throughout Europe at any time of year, with all the comforts.This van has the latest high-tech Victron Power monitoring system with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as solid redwood tongue & groove ceiling & flooring, Iroko kitchen worktops, and Ash table which provide a warm and homely feel.
The ash table is on a 360-degree Lagun aluminium table base which swivels effortlessly into the ideal position and height for you – it is also removable completely to open up space in the seating area that can comfortably seat 4 people.A Redwood floor on top of 5mm wood fibre Insulation finished in Aluminium trim edging throughout.
Ceramic, ‘Fired Earth’ tiled splashback to the kitchen area, gorgeous Porthole window above the Porcelain sink with stainless steel plug sockets and switches throughout.
Everything in this van has been tailor-made from the cabinets to the bed frame, to the professionally upholstered seat cushions.
Including a fully custom electrical system, with plenty of power to keep you going and even enough to use the van as a mobile office allowing you to keep those emails at bay whilst you’re away on holiday!
