Charming campervan, nearly finished and full of potential
This 2015 Mercedes Sprinter (long wheelbase) has been lovingly converted into a cosy, comfortable home on wheels – perfect for weekends away, remote working, or spontaneous adventures. It’s been a real passion project, but due to a change in circumstances, I’m putting it up for sale before getting the chance to fully complete it. I managed to live in it for four months and truly loved my time travelling round and I hope the next owner gets a great adventure too!
Here’s what you’ll find:
– Fully insulated and ply-lined – walls are lined with wool and the floor and ceiling are insulation board.
– Renogy Solar panel + BLUETTI AC200MAX Expandable Power Station | 2,200W 2,048Wh for proper off-grid freedom
– Comfortable double bed with loads of storage underneath
– Neutral, modern interior that still feels warm and inviting
– Plush seating area with a swivel table for dining or working.
– Seats double up as storage – (H)45cm – (W) 60cm – (D) 55cm
– Dellonda 50L Portable Car Fridge/Freezer, 12/24/230V Dual Zone Compressor – one side can be a fridge, the other a freezer. Or both sides can be the same temperature for ample food storage
– Dimmable LED lighting and 2 extension leads with USB-A and USB-C charging points
– Portable cassette toilet, neatly tucked away
– Kitchen with 3 drawers and a cupboard. One side of the cupboard holds 25L Clean water bottle and 25L waste water
– USB charged tap used for cold water and lasts months before needing to be recharged.
What’s left to finish?
The van is about 90% complete – it just needs a few final touches to make it your own:
– Rewiring the fuse box to allow for mains hook-up
– Replacing the skylight – it recently broke but there is a Maxxair fan supplied that can replace it.
– A few cosmetic bits and pieces
My end goal for this van was to have a external shower with a Joolca water system for hot water. If you didn’t want this set up then a plumbing system could be added.
It’s been a joy to work on this van, and I’d love to see it go to someone who’s excited to put their own stamp on it and enjoy many adventures to come.
This campervan has been thoughtfully converted with a neutral, modern design that suits any style — clean lines, warm wood tones, and a practical layout make it easy to personalise. The pull-out double bed, compact kitchen area, and ample storage create a comfortable living space whether you’re on the road full-time or weekending away.
It’s around 90% complete, with a few finishing touches still needed — including rewiring the fuse box, replacing the skylight (maxxair fan has been bought), and some minor cosmetic details. A perfect opportunity to put your own stamp on an already beautiful build.
