Detailed Information
Vehicle Description

Fantastic converted Transit connect ready for adventures! I converted this van in the first lockdown and have had so many fantastic solo adventures in it. I’m a rock climber and this van, although small, has plenty of storage for all my kit so makes the perfect adventure vehicle without having to commit to a larger van. Only selling as I’m moving into a larger van with my boyfriend so it doesn’t make sense to keep this sitting on the driveway when it could be appreciated by someone else! You can visit my Instagram @claire_leonie where I have a story highlight saved for the conversion and a story highlight saved for adventures I’ve been on since.

VEHICLE:
2 previous owners including myself
Mileage very low at 92000 miles
MOT until June 2022
Serviced in April at 89500 miles
New alternator, new battery, new starter motor and 2 new tyres recently fitted.
Spare wheel included but not attached currently.
Roof Rack included.

THE AWKWARD BITS
As this is a 15 year old transit it does have some rust problems (as you would expect). I had a bunch of welding done and spoke to the mechanic about how extensive it is. To quote he said “The rust is actually better than you would expect for a vehicle this old and the engine is absolutely bomb proof with such low mileage. It’s just something worth keeping on top of rather than waiting for something to go wrong”.
The rear right wheel arch trim has come off. I have the trim but just need to attach it so this should be sorted by the time the vehicle is yours.

Conversion Description

CONVERSION
No gas and electric but comes with small camping stove, all rechargeable battery powered lights (chargeable by usb) and large battery pack for charging devices. I’ve never had any issues with not having enough power for a week long trip.
Insulated with Dodo Sound Deadening on the floor and Dodo Thermo Fleece and Dodo Thermo Liner on the walls and ceiling. I’ve slept in the van in 2 degrees C and felt cosy!
Pull out L-shaped bed, pulls out into a small double. I am 5ft7 and fit very comfortably. I have slept me and someone 6ft in there but it was certainly very snug! The top box of the bed is also a storage box and there is plenty of space under the rest of the bed to store things. Memory foam mattress.
Kitchen cabinet has 3 doors, a side one so that you can still access your morning coffee without having to put the bed away.
Massive overhead cab storage (I use this as my wardrobe).
Hand-made bulkhead with windows to separate cap whilst letting light in when desired. Blinds roll up and are handmade with black out thermal material.
Comes kitted out with everything you need except bedding.

THE AWKWARD BITS
The wood, particularly on the large kitchen cupboard, could do with a sand and repainting/varnishing as it’s not as clean as it used to be! Fully ready for use but could do with a bit of tlc.
