Mercedes sprinter luton van
My self-built campervan, or as I like to call it my ‘mini house on wheels’. Complete with: a kingsize bed (mattress not included in the sale); a new flushable toilet; a large shower with sink; kitchen with fresh drinking water tap; 12v cool box (very cold); seating which converts into a large sofa (with storage boxes under the seat ) a two burner hob; 12vTV; night heater; 75ltr water tank; 3x 110 amp batteries; split charger; cordless dyson hoover; oak table; gas combi boiler; 2000w inverter; 150w solar panel (flexi on the roof); double glazed windows with blinds; and Kingspan 50mm (roof), 25mm floor and walls. The entire vehicle is fully insulated.
The van was built with comfort and self-sufficiency in mind, for personal use on a long-haul work contract (travelling all over Scotland, as far as the Isle of Harris/Lewis). Essentially I was fed up with sharing hotel rooms, so I decided to kit out my own van. Sadly however, this contract is coming to an end and I no longer have a use for it.
It has been self-serviced every 10,000 miles (oil checks, new filters etc) and is in excellent condition. The only repair is one side (see pictures).It has been undersealed as well, the driver seat has a tear on it so i put seat covers on
reversing camera does not always work, This is an 11 year old vehicle and does have age related marks, it weighs 3.2 tonne fully loaded, proper van tyres (michelin ) all good.
This van does not have grey tanks (I always used biodegradable soap) and 240 hook up (as I didn’t have a use for this). Both could easily be added by someone else should you require them.
