VW T25
Myrtle, a 1987 Transporter, that has undergone a camper conversion. Ready for adventures with a long MOT until 27 June 2023.
Its got a working fridge, stove, grill & fold out bed. All in working order. I’ve camped in it throughout the year and it’s well insulated.
We’ve travelled around Britain, from Scotland to Cornwall and West Wales to Norfolk. She’s cruised well on motorways. And held up BMW drivers on A roads. We’ve had a great time with her, however, we’ve now bought another van (a T25 with a pop top), so have to sell as will not use her much.
Significant work to van;
– Lowered and placed on stiffer suspension, by a previous owner, giving a firmer ride & helping with handling around winding country lanes.
– Cylinder head gaskets replaced in 2017
– Fuel tank & Pipes replaced in 2021
Rust & body work;
There is surface rust on a few places. There is significant rust on the underside of the front foot steps, but is not structural.
– I’ve treated underneath of the van & inside of accessible panels with Ankor wax (see final picture).
– Previous body work and re-spray has been done by a previous owner (maybe 10 years ago).
Comes with front roof rack, thermal window covers, wedges & Fiamina bicycle rack.
Myrtle was converted by a previous owner, through an unknown professional conversion company. All of the fittings still work. We’ve just tried to give it a bit of a brighten up, with new wooden work tops / table and paint.
Fold out bed.
