Vehicle Description

This is a nearly done conversion of a reliable, spacious vehicle with a great engine and chassis. It is very nearly ready for some holiday sun, full-time living or just the freedom of quick trips here n there!

We’ve had a change of circumstances and so can’t finish it but it is perfect for someone who wants a mechanically sound, off-grid mini-bus for pleasure or renting out without spending an absolute fortune!!

We’ve spent time travelling so it’s well thought out with plenty of space and storage solutions galore! It is at the perfect time to take over, the basics are done and all that’s needed is a bit of personalisation!

It’s fully and beautifully cladded with hardwood detailing by a professional carpenter so it has a real cabin, clean finish with the odd cupboard and shelf here and there. It’s got a real homely feel, even unfinished!

All the fine carpentry work is done, the nook seating area has flip-top seats to access the storage and there is a space for a TV if you wanted! The kitchen has two hardwood surfaces and plenty of space to add necessary accessories, we’ve left it blank so you can personalize! The bedroom holds a small double bed and again has nook-style cladding headboards and two little wall cupboards for essentials! There is LOADS of storage under the bed too!

It’s defo worth a look as it has a lot to offer I can’t explain here!

So here’s a quick list of what’s what!

MECHANICS
– REPLACEMENT ENGINE which has barely been used since we had it put in at approximately 92,000 miles – it had a 6 month guarantee at the time which has expired but honestly we’ve hardly used it!!
– 2402cc Twin Axle Ridge Body with hardly any rust (can be a weak point on this model)
– NEW clutch
– NEW cambelt
– NEW Fanbelt/pulley bearings
– NEW oil/water filters
– NEW break pads
– Good tyres
– Registered as N1, drivable with normal car license taken before 1997
– 5 months MOT but it hasn’t even been used since the mot was done so there’ll be no problems there

CAMPING STUFF:
– 2 X leisure batteries + inverter. Powers fridge, lights, 230v output socket. Could power more if needed. Rechargeable from running engine.
– 12v charging points
– Fridge powered by gas or electric
– 2 ring gas hob and oven
– Plenty of storage EVERYWHERE!
– Plenty of seating with seat cushions
– Double bed
– Floor, walls and ceiling insulated
– Partition wall between cab and back with door, storage and table
– wires ready for 6 overhead lights
– speakers throughout
– Diesel heater in place to be either fixed (it’s really good one) or replaced
– Blacked out windows at the bedroom/ kitchen
– Space for chem or compost loo (flip up lid in seating)

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE
– Exterior painting, we’ve researched and have the paint for what we think is the easiest way… it’s for camel with a white strip. Barely any filling to do so should be fairly straightforward.
– Interior painting, but this is good, you can personalize!
– Fixing lights
– Kitchen sink and tap need to be fixed
– We were putting in a foot pump (saves water over an electric one)
– Curtain poles (we’ve got whittled hazel ready to go + curtains)
– We haven’t plans to put in a shower because we didn’t really miss one when we were traveling and wanted the extra space …but…there is space for either a shower at the back with the doors open or to build a unit in the front somewhere. Same goes for water, we didn’t miss hot water and for the extra hassle of putting in pumps n heaters n stuff it just wasn’t worth it for us, plus you ALWAYS use more n you don’t wanna be wasting water on the road!!…but you could if you wanted! There is defo space for extra water.

The bus is pretty flexible with possibilities of upgrades, solar panels n all sorts and this is a reluctant sale. We bought it to live in so we had great plans – we just loved the space and light you get in it.

Anyway, let us know if you’re interested to have a look. We aren’t based in the UK (a covid/Brexit curve ball) and so our mechanic friend who’s been looking after it will show you around at the weekend. Please feel free to ask any questions and get in touch to arrange a viewing 😊

Thanks for looking!

P.S the measurements are approximate, we can get exacts but not just at the moment! I’ll update at the weekend 😊
