The van was converted by North Bound Campers and prior to us owning it was part of their hire fleet for 14 months. The van has been washed regularly and kept in a barn throughout the winter months.
The van is the professional or enterprise model with cruise control, parking sensors, navigation and bluetooth interface.
Its a 6 speed gearbox that full loaded achieves 34-36 MPG mixed driving.
There are 2 small marks on the van one on the rear bumper and one on the front bumper these are both 1-2 inches in size the paintwork is very clean on the van.
The conversion was completed by North Bound Campervans in 2021 to a very high standard.
North Bounds aim was to create a camper van that was highly functional and would be amazing for heading into the wilderness on adventures, long weekends and even taking on a big trip abroad.
Nessie is the ultimate family van with 3 seats in the front with NB signature covered seats, and 2 seats in the back from a ford custom (very comfy seats).
The sleeping arrangement with the pop-top allows the van to used for socialising even when the kids are in bed and there is lots of eating, playing and relaxing space if itβs raining outside.

The Build:
The van was thoroughly cleaned before we began the 3 layers of insulation.
Firstly we installed a 5mm layer of high quality bubble foil insulation. This material retains 95% of the residual heat in the van.
Second, a 25 mm insulation board is fitted to the walls and ceilings and any gaps.
Finally, another layer of 5mm bubble foil was added and sealed with more foil tape to give a 3 stage insulation to keep the van toasty even in the depths of winter.

Electrics
The electrics are powered by a high quality 115 amp deep cycle leisure battery (new in 2023) or through 240v mains hookup.
The battery can be charged from either the split charge system that includes a heavy duty Durite smart relay or will charge from the battery charger when on mains hookup. There is an LED display voltmeter so you can keep a close eye on your power consumption and never have to worry whether you are running low on charge or not. There is also a switch panel which controls power to the fridge and water pump. Everything has been individually fused for ease of maintenance.
