Renault Master Lm35 Dci
After 8 months of driving around Europe and having the best time in our beautiful campervan, new adventures means we have to open up the opportunity of ownership for someone else to create beautiful memories.
We bought the van in February 2023 as a retired St John Ambulance with a Papworth conversion, the vehicle had just under 84,000 miles when the V5 was issued to use and was serviced regularly to be in line with St Johns Ambulance Vehicle Standards. The camper has also had new front brakes and pads within the last 6 months, a full service last month as well as an MOT which was carried last week and passed.
After we purchased the van, we decided to strip out all the old Papworth electrics as they were overly complex and essentially not designed to support the functions that we intended for the van, below is a list of all new electrical modifications including appliances, sockets, ports, fan, etc…

SmartSolar Charge Controller – MPPT 100 I 20
Orion-Tr Smart 12 I 12 – 18. – Isolated DC/DC Charger

2 x 180ah lead acid batteries – Installed brand new and supplied by Platinum June 2023.
3 x Rows of ceiling spot lights – Each row individually switched.
Apple CarPlay stereo upgrade installed in the front cab.
Eberspracher diesel heater – Fed from the main diesel tank (Cleaned and service July 2023) – Bedside control panel.
Non brand ceiling fan – Intake/Extract functions – Rain water sensor & Closed lid functions.
Water pump to feed the kitchen tap.
Other features:
The camper has a full Gaslow System, with a sealed internal locker, external gas fill and a 6L gas bottle, which feeds a 2 ring gas hob.
The camper van has plenty of clever storage solutions including, under seat storage, pull out baskets, over head storage and huge storage under the bed accessible from the rear doors. We have installed a great slide out table that easy stores away under the bed and there is also a pull out chemical toilet that is built into the seating (A new toilet and chemicals will be provided to the new owner).
Summary:
Overall this has been an amazing home for us over the last year, we drove from the UK through Europe visiting 18 countries, experiencing highs of 40 degrees and lows of -6 and still the camper never let us down, she has started at every turn of the key and just kept going.
We really wanted to make the interior feel like a home and look stylish which, I believe we have achieved, we are currently doing to final touches of refurbishing and repainting the interior so it is super fresh for the new owner.
The solar and electrical setup meant that when we were snowed under in Bulgaria for 4 days, we kept warm and with power without any concerns.
This is a very sturdy and reliable camper and would make someone a great base to further discover the world, the underside is clean and very strong. The external paint work is to be expected of a vehicle of that age, but it again is solid and without rust.
We welcome any viewings or questions you may have. We are based in West Sussex but regularly travel up to Yorkshire so if you are further afield we can maybe be flexible with the viewins.
This really is a wonderful and capable van that has many, many years of adventure left in her.
The camper van was converted over the space of 5 months with attention to detail shown at every point, making sure the usability and functionality were considered at all points.
Double bed with side wall cut outs at the top and the bottom of the bed to maximise space.

Quirky loves this style means that Quirky Campers would potentially approve this vehicle for hiring. However, Quirky have not approved a Gas Safe certificate, a Weighbridge certificate, or the vehicle's electrics. Buyers must check these themselves. For some tips on what to look out for read this. If the listing has no Gas Safe certificate, no unladen weight and no electrical sign-off please proceed with caution!
