The van is mechanically sound and has been maintained regardless of cost by both myself and the previous owner. It’s a really smooth, solid van to drive.
The bodywork is in good condition bar a few surface scratches and two very small (3cm) dents at a high level on the front and another on the back. Other than that, it’s a very tidy van.
The van was expertly converted by the previous owner as a fully kitted camper in 2021.
It’s fully insulated and lined including vapour barriers etc (no condensation at all) and holds its internal temperature well even when the outside temp is below zero.
The van was originally converted to hold 3 adult bikes, an inflatable canoe and all luggage out of the main living space in the under bed lockup.
Above the lockup is a fixed, full length, 4ft wide double fitted with a memory foam mattress. It’s super comfy and has a good ceiling height to sit up in bed for reading etc. There are two reading lights above the bed for this, too.
The kitchen has a double LPG gas hob with a full Campingaz bottle located in a locked gas safe with dropout in the storage lockup. The kitchen also comes with a Dometic CoolMatic CRX50 Premium fridge freezer which functions really well. Plenty of storage in the three sliding drawers. There’s also a full size sink with tap fed by a 30L over arch fixed water tank, shurflo pump and expansion tank. 2 additional 25L plastic jerry cans will come with the van so you should have water to keep you going for a few days, for drinking, showering, washing etc.
The shurflo pump also feeds a shower that’s mounted on the rear driver’s side door, which is perfect for washing you, dogs, bikes etc. The water system in the van was fitted with steel braided flexible items rather than the cheaper plastic stuff usually used in campervans.
The van also has a bench seat with storage underneath and a hidden seperett composting toilet (fluids piped out of the van and solids into a plastic box kept in a sealed cupboard). It’s a great little low impact solution for when there aren’t other options available.
The van has a full electrical install including split charge relay, mains hookup (shore power), 1000w/2000w pure sinewave inverter, two 85 amp hour batteries, 400w low profile solar panels fitted to the roof, solar charge controller and smart battery charger ready to go. This was professionally fitted with all the fuses, breakers and relays required.
The van is fitted with deadlocks to the side and rear doors. Perfect if you’re going to be leaving it for a few days, have high value bikes or kit, or in my case, are a solo traveller and like the comfort of added security.
Full length 4ft wide double bed (fixed) with additional sleeping space for children by using a cab bed in the front.
