Three berth camper that has recently been finished. Has only been used three times. This is my third campervan conversion so it has been finished to a high standard. It is a well thought out design with no expense spared
INSIDE REAR
* 2 Maxxair Skymaxx opening roof vents which have fly screens and black out blinds, built in air vents which can be changed to allow no air if required
* Custom made seat cushions which have been professionally upholstered
* 3 spring loaded honeycomb type blinds which help to keep heat in and cold out
* Door under bed with space for toilet. Toilet not supplied but it’s a standard design so can be bought from places such as eBay/Go Outdoors etc
* Easily accessible Sanjo (SVR50L) 42 litre compressor fridge/4.5 litre freezer with silent running feature (not a cool box type fridge hidden away!)
* 2 ring gas hob (never used) with gas safe box and gas drop vent. Gas professionally piped by local gas authorised caravan dealer, so it’s not just an orange rubber pipe which I see in so many conversions
* Thetford Argent sink with cold water tap/ submersible pump. 10 litre cold and waste containers under sink
* Fully insulated with Recticel insulation 30mm on floor, 40mm on ceiling and at least 50mm on walls, with some areas insulated with recycled plastic insulation from B&Q which doesn’t absorb moisture. All covered with a vapour barrier
* Solid oak worktop, unit top and table covered with Osmo food safe oil
* 2kw Vevor diesel heater with remote control and 2 vents to keep you toasty. Upgraded heater parts include fuel line, turret and jubilee clips. Most importantly a “James Browning-Smith” virtually silent pump has been fitted (Google them if you’ve not heard of them). So no pump clicking noise! This heater will keep you warm even if it’s snowing outside. Some spare parts for heater included too
* Electrics custom made and supplied by Rayne Automotive. Includes 4 x 240v mains sockets, 2000-watt peak power/1000-watt inverter with 2 sockets. Leisure battery with split charge system which charges leisure battery whilst vehicle is running. 4 front ceiling lights controlled by switch near door on entry/exit. The control panel has switches for the rear 4 ceiling lights, 2 kitchen work top lights, tap, USB x 2, 12v power supply and voltmeter. 3 reading lights with 3 settings, blue light on switch, warm or bright white bulbs. Final fix of electrics done and checked by an auto electrician
* 24 inch Bush smart TV (ELED24HDSDVDB) with DVD including remote control. You can also watch the TV in bed
* Fireangel combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm
* Fire extinguisher
* Lots of storage: above cab, overhead cabinets, under large seat and drawer above fridge. The kitchen unit also has 3 drawers and 2 cupboards
* Storage rack above table for books/glasses/wine bottles etc
* Large under bed garage area for storage with 2 bolted cargo hooks in floor
* Bed and all furniture bolted to van (not just screwed in place)
* All paint, dye and wood stain used had either minimal or low VOCs
* Instructions for all appliances eg TV, Fridge, Hob, Heater etc included
OUTSIDE
* Camp site/home hook up so all electrics inside the van can run off mains electric
* Professionally fitted and professionally tinted opening windows on each side
* Side half way door stop fitted if required
The van has only been used for 3 short trips to ensure everything works. Afterwards I fitted a few extra home comforts like a curver bin inside kitchen door, hand towel/drying towel suckers inside kitchen door and a discreet drying line above bed.
Overall, a well thought out conversion, with no expense spared and a van which we find a very pleasant space to spend time in.
