Off-Grid, 4 Season Camper : MWB Ford Transit

This van has been my home for the last year. Instead of breaking the bank on student accommodation, I built this to live in for my last year of uni. I was in Manchester through the week, and out in much prettier places on the weekend! Given this was my full time accommodation, the conversion is highly specced, with full off-grid electrics, a large 70L water tank, minimum 50mm insulation throughout, and a heater to keep me toasty on the cold winter nights in the Peak District! There is a huge amount of storage space, it can fit my windsurf kit, surfboards, a bike, and all my other belongings… this van is perfect for surfers, windsurfers, cyclists, or anyone with outdoor hobbies requiring a lot of storage space, but also a cosy and comfortable living area. However, it is sadly time to sell. I genuinely love this van and it has been my first home, but I plan to work abroad for the foreseeable future, and I really hope someone will love spending time exploring with it just as much as I have.

Electrics:

– Separately heated shower room with extractor fan …dry wetsuit in less than 12hrs all year round!

– Blue Diamond Porta Potti (used, clean and in good condition)

Kitchen:
– 2 Burner Gas Hob
– Kitchen sink + cold water tap
– Dometic Fridge
– Large Kitchen Drawer + plenty of food storage
– General Waste and Recycling Bin in the under sink cupboard

Living/Dining/Office:
– Table
– Bench seat for two (housing the fridge and extra storage)
– 240v sockets next to table
– Thule Omnivent motorised ceiling fan

– Diesel heater with its own 15L fuel tank

Bedroom:
– Openable bunk window right next to bed
– Blackout blind for larger window

– Lined with robust waterproof rubber flooring
– Houses water tank and electrics
– Windsurf/surfboard rack (which goes under the kitchen
cabinet, this could be turned into extra cupboard space)
– Still highly modifiable to fit your storage needs!
