Citroen Relay 35 L3H3 Euro 6
2016 2.0L BlueHDI Euro 6 diesel Citroen Relay 35 L3H3 (rare high top). The van runs and drives very well with plenty of power to keep up with all motorway traffic, cruises nicely and is good on fuel consumption. Has a 6 speed gearbox, also has good brakes and a strong handbrake. Few creature comforts with good aircon, bluetooth connectivity to the radio, cruise control, reversing camera, electric windows and drivers armrest. The body is in great condition given it’s a panel van and is in a nice silver colour with black trim opposed to the usual white van colour. Van has been well looked after as I believe it was originally owned and used by the NHS…plenty of work and servicing done: new catalytic converter, new alternator, new handbrake, new waterpump, new starter motor, new injectors and plenty of interval services. The van has a spare wheel in the original working cradle system under the van which can be lowered using the original tools stored under the passenger seat. One intermittent EML light on dash for ‘low voltage bank one’ which is to do with one of the sensors on the cat, doesn’t affect the way the van drives and garage believes it just needs cleaning/replacing.
The van was converted by myself in lockdown last year with an adventurer/climber in mind, and I feel no expense was spared during the conversion when it came to the equipment that I was installing. We’ve given the van a very clean but warming interior with soft greys, nice teals and white to reflect as much light inside as possible. We gave the van the name of Nala but of course it can take on a new lease of life with a new name with its new owner! The large double bed is raised up on a platform and is in a fixed position to enable plenty of storage in the ‘garage’ area underneath at the back of the van, with two windows for viewing out of and one large roof vent above the bed for ventilation. I’m 6ft2 and can sleep in this bed quite comfortably. The bed will come supplied with a very nice air mattress and topper as it happened to fit the space so well we thought we’d sell it with it.
