The van was overall in a good condition before the convesion, and has been looked after and maintained with no expense spared. For a 16 year old van the bodyworrk is in good condition. The engine is in good condition and recieved a full service August 2021 and an oil and filter change This month. Invoices to prove both have been completed. A list of work undertaken on the vehicle in the past 12 months demonstrates this and all work comes with suppliers invoices.
Recent jobs:
– Heater plugs replaced
– Inlet manifold seals replaced
– Rear brake discs and pads
– Front pads
– 4 new tyres
– New battery
– Fuel tank breather pipe replaced
– Aftermarket cd player with aux fitted
– Reverse camera fitted
The van will be sold with a fresh MOT and oil + filter service.
The van will only be for sale after July 9th 2022 as this is our last booked trip away in the van. Viewings before hand are welcome and anyone wanting to secure the vehicle for theirselves will be required to pay a £500 deposit. Delivery of the vehicle may be negotiated upon full payment.
The van started life as a standard panel van so initially the sliding and fixed windows were fitted along with the MaxxFan. After this the van has undergone a thorough leak check before the conversion began ensuring no water was making its way into the van. Upon completion the two of the three rear door seals have been replaced for 100% water tightness inside the van. The van was then fully sound deadened and insulated using DODO products. This was then finished by a full vapour barrier. I have many photos to demonstrate and prove this phase of the build. The floor has been built out of 25mm batons of wood surrounding KingSpan 25mm insulation with a 12mm sheet of plywood ontop and a waterproof vinyl flooring over that. A full 240v hookup point charges the 300Ah leisure battery when using a campsites power and allows the use of 4 240v sockets in the van. A split charge relay also charges the lleisure battery when the van engine is running. 2X100w solar panels keep the leisure battery topped up on brighter days. All electrics im the conversion have been professionally installed by myself with the 240v consumer unit was pre wired by wiredcampers.co.uk. The solar kit was also purchased from wired campers. The sink has a drainpipe straight out the bottom of the van so no need to empty a waste water tank. A full list details everything bought and installed in the van,
