Twinkle is a stunning Ex Red Cross Minibus turned off-grid Campervan in 2021. Twinkle came into our family in 2022 and it was love at first sight with its amazing colours and décor! The van itself still has the original character of its past life but once that side door opens, it’s like Christmas Day morning!! You immediately fall in love.

We are selling because we have relocated internationally but have loved every minute if this van and it has been a massive hit with rental income too. A great investment! Our plan was to rent in peak months with QuirkyCampers and personal use in the downtime months. So we now look for someone would love ‘Twinkle’ just like we have!

Loads of storage in the under-bed garage for your cases, bikes and other large items. The garage also has its own lighting for late night kit dig-arounds! Large panoramic tinted privacy windows with blackout blinds, giving you all round views from your bed or seating areas, the two windows near the bed can open, useful for the summer nights.

There’s room for the whole family. Towards the rear there is a fixed double bed, ready for you to dive right into after a day spent exploring the local area. During the day the L shaped sofa is a great spot to read a book, eat your meals or sit back and just be. Simply open up the side door and enjoy the view. Come bedtime the sofa can be transformed into a small bed suitable for a child.

From the dual gas hob to the fridge/freezer combo, Twinkle’s kitchen is a fantastic place to cook up delicious meals and drinks. Imagine being parked up by the beach with the door open, sea air breezing through, with everything you could possibly wish for at your fingertips.

Description of Beds: Twinkle sleeps up to two people. There is a firm memory foam full width fixed double bed at the rear of the van, which is only just shorter than a standard double at 135cm in width and 180cm in length.

Description of Seating: Twinkle offers three belted single seats (suitable for a baby seat also if required) in the front of the van (including driver) with headrests. There is also a L shaped sofa, that has the potential to be a guest/child’s bed if needed, provides the perfect place for enjoying your meal or reading a book with an impressive Lagun dining table can be removed for space and put in the cupboard over the cab, or easily adjusted 360degrees to whatever position/height around the L shaped sofa.

Description of Electrical Setup: Twinkle electrics are run from a 220 AH AMG deep cycle leisure battery that is charged by the engine via a cargo split relay and a large 200w monocrystalline solar panel attached to a Victron Energy MPPT controller for total off grid living. Even on slightly overcast days the solar panels will ensure the battery is kept charged.

There is a TR Voltage reader displaying the battery percentage and current voltage within the van which helps keep track of the power along with an Odoga 300W Car Power Inverter from 12V to 240V UK socket, along with multiple USB charging points. Two dimmable reading lights provide cosy lighting in the bedroom area also complete with USB charging ports. Another special feature of Twinkle is its starry sky lighting effect that is controlled by a remote for in bed star gazing! Dimmable spotlights make the living area of the camper cosy at night. Twinkle is just perfect for an off-grid adventure!

Cooking Equipment: The kitchen provides a Thetford 922 dual gas hob supplied by a canister of campingaz 907 underneath the hob itself. There is also a super energy efficient Dometic CRE50 12/24/230V Compressor Fridge/Freezer, runs almost silently and uses very little electricity. Also comes with the option of a freezer section, which we found to be a necessity for those warm evenings with a few icy Gin & T’s!

Twinkle has all the necessities of utensils and equipment required for cooking and enjoying a tasty meal for two, not forgetting a sink to get those pots washed, after a few drinks of course! This is all included in the purchase price.

Water and Sanitation: There is a 25-litre clean water tank and a 20-litre grey water which supplies clean water to the sink via a pump, both located under the sink. Additionally, Twinkle has a pulled-out porta potti 365 cassette toilet that is built into the bench storage for convenience. There is an external cold shower in the rear of the van with a privacy curtain that can be attached to the rear doors. Perfect for the summer months!

Audio Equipment: The radio in the cab provides a Bluetooth connection for listening to your own music while driving along with two USB charging points.

Type of Heating: The van is well insulated throughout with a Eberspacher diesel heater along with the centrepiece of Twinkle, our very own star log burner for your warmth and comfort. It really is toasty at the flick of a switch or a strike of a match!

MOT has just passed on 30th March 2023 for another year with no issues, a solid van! Classed as LGV minibus under 3.5tonnes and does not need a special licence to drive.
